I dont know but most igbo girls use to marry late, its only few of them that marry's early. Why?
i know am stepping on the toes of some igbo girls here just like what sillyboy stated 'one can use the dowry paid on a igbo girl to build sky scrappers' why is it the they impose lucrative amount on them during dowry payment? Abi na bad question again?

thats exactly what i was thinking. is it because a lot of other cultures marry their daughters off so early that now the good age to marry is considered late?
we are past the oldern days so i think its safe to say getting married at 16 is rather young with all the opportunities life has in store.

i thought of the north and how many of them marry off usually around the age of 16 but i didnt wanna really get into that.
but yeah, i dont think igbo girls marry late, i think they just wait for the right time.
in the whole of my family and extended family and beyond, i dont believe any woman by the age of 32 isnt already married.
