3. Find someone to teach you Corel draw. It is easier and faster to learn than Photoshop. Any business center or small computer school in your area will do. Then you can make all your covers easily.

Nigeria doesn't have a tax treaty with the US. So even with the EIN, you would still be charged 30%.

I found a way to get rid of that 30%. I called them and got my EIN and have supplied it to amazon. I cannot afford to lose 30% in this recession.

yo can source for a book cover designer on fiver. they normally charge from 5- 20dollars. and it depends on the designer.you can choose to do your own cover too if you are well drenched on microsoft word or corel draw. google it, there are tons of material on the web and youtube to guide you through.as for the format, i use word 97-2003 template when saving the final file. if you have any other question am available.

1, Createspace is free at every stage. When you get to the proofing stage, choose digital proof.
2. Use the same Payoneer bank details. Hint: use the same email and password and names on your kindle account. This makes it easier for them to link the kindle and createspace copies of your books on Amazon.

Hello good people, truely i got to know Amazon and even brought it to my friend's knowledge sometime back but when it got to publishing point and I inquire from some friends, those whom have heard of the site but they told me not to trust Amazon and it likes that they aren't real, that all they do is make a bloody living out of once hardwork while the author languish in poverty.
The question is, is it true or false

Thank you My Oga MK82, I am grateful for the answer. One last thing though, it us possible to have a kindle copy of a book and enroll it on Kdp select and then have another copy in createspace? Will it offend Amazon Kdp rules that when a book is uploaded in Kdp select it must be on any online store. Thank you again for always helping out?

CreateSpace - $26.90 (Comment: I started createspace in the middle of Sep. Wish I had started much earlier)
KDP (US ) - $264.63
KDP (UK) - #51.93 (Pounds)
KDP (CAD) - $13.44
KDP (AUS) - $2.74


I will just assume that all of this is dollars and say that we pulled in: $359.64.

This is not much but I give God praise for it and hope for better days ahead.

Please note that I gave out over 1000 free books in the free downloads promo.

My goal now is to build a website along my niche and put all books there and then do some basic marketing for the books too, not just waiting for amazon.

Amazon best sellers rank of 150,000 or 200,000 is not very profitable but also not so bad. There are almost 5 million books on Kindle Store so 150,000 or 200,000 is not so bad nowadays. However, if you want books that will really sell well, look for keywords with a good number of books with Amazon best sellers rank of below 100,000.

2. Not yet. I have not met with the OP for one -on-one training. But I wrote him a mail and he gave me some very valuable advise. Really valuable advice. The OP is really out to help us. His advise is worth much more than many books I have read on this business. He even gave me cover ideas. I'm really grateful and would remain grateful for his help, and please note @MK82, I will keep needing your help.

3. No. I dont do any external promo for now. May start that later in the process.

4. I have books that 60 pages. Some 190. some 200 + pages. I have just learned that the higher the number of pages the more value oyibo tend to think they'll get from it.

5. For now, I am writing on my passions and core call I have for my life. But I will soon branch out. I have learnt to just look for books that are selling and write on them. I have books that are not selling at all and ones that sell one-two-three daily.
