Why is nobody saying anything about the chaos this has caused!!! Am currently in Akure, igoba side and they are burning Tyres everywhere n blocking roads.

The whole town is in pandemonium now,the yeye sitting governor has not come out to talk to his thugs.I think we are calling for a state of emergency here.

Ondo state has 3 senatorial districts, north, south and central. Mimiko is from central and has ruled for good 8 years, personal I think it is wrong for him to pick another candidate (eyitayo) from central again. Hmmmm! You have a point, Eyitayo is from Akure and Mimiko from Ondo and both cities are from Central.... But remember Aketi also from Owo in Central, Oke and Jimoh from North.... If they will do it as state constitution, it shld be between Oke AD & Jimoh PDP

Jimoh cannot do anything here. He is not respected at his Igbotako where he hailed from. And mind you, Oke and Jimoh are both Ikale. Even while Oke can get some pocket of vote from Ese odo and Ilaje, people there will vote for there son who happen to be Aketi Deputy. They wont vote for Oke who was OSOPADEC chairman and did nothing. So the south senetorial vote is divided and Jimoh cannot have 20% from there. I give Aketi 50% in the south senetorial district which will come from Odigbo and Irele. The two LGA are not going to vote for Jimoh. I can assure you PDP is dead here. To nail it all, Oke name is missing in the participant list when it was updated last.


Central district has the chunk. They got the back of Eyitayo and they will never support Jimoh. He can spend all he have but that wont change the fact that he will lost. Central is going for Aketi.


The North is in the pulse of Aketi. On Nov 26, I see Jimoh coming third. Agunloye is coming second and Aketi is having the day

Well well, after reading people's comments here, I have to say this....
1. The coming election is going to be based on personality.
2. Any candidate that finally wins will go back to his original party e.g. if Oke wins, he'll go back to APC and so on.
3. Concerning the judgement by Justice Abang, if I can recollect, he was the one behind the production of two Governors in Abuja state....I smell something fishy
4. Jimoh Ibrahim is not after winning the election, he's only there for a shady mission.
5. Personally, I like Eyitayo but I think he's come out at the wrong tiime in the wrong faction etc
6. Finally, I can't say much about the person that can win but I'm cock sure it's not going to be about the name of the party.
Let's just pray for peace to reign and let's continue to watch this seasonal film in 3D

However, The truth is Jimoh Ibrahim knows he can not win. He is an opportunist who is simply capitalizing on the loopholes in PDP to humiliate Mimiko- and he seems to be achieving this.You hardly see his posters in the state unlike in those days when he contested on the platform of ANPP;this means he is not so serious about it....

For OKE, the forces against him in his party are not as strong as the ones in support of him. In fact, these anti-OKE forces may likely team up with him especially now that things seem to be going his way. Don't also forget that rather than pitch tent with Jimoh Ibrahim, some PDP members would rather go for Oke because he has his foundation there...and he was quite loyal to his erstwhile boss,Late Agagu...until Mimiko came from LP to hijack the structure from him and others.

And Aketi...he stepped on big toes before getting here. He has also refused to mend fences. Instead he believes without these people he 'offended' he could win. His utterances leave much to be desired. Rather than support Aketi, these forces within APC would at best sit on the fence, or they may give their support to OKE, who we all know has the support of SOME APC stalwarts who feel aggrieved by the outcome of the primaries that brought AKETI on board...

The battle line is drawn....who carries the day,only time will tell..but OKE seems to have an edge

I said it back then like a seer that Oke will only win Okitipupa. He got Ilaje because Jimoh was out of the race. Jimoh would have knocked him out completely from Ilaje which he won with landslide. The fact is I live in thr same hood with Agboola. I know what he is capable of and have studied his acceptability in Ese Odo, Okitipupa and Ilaje. Trust me bro, I might not speak of other state politics but when it comes to Ondo state, APC wil cruise to victory every time
