Greetings to the gentlemen, ladies and the e-warriors in this forum. I need a reasonable answer to this general mentality that fair(White, yellow , brown, pink... Give dem colors, although those colors are not for skin) ladies are beautiful.

I discovered that many a lady had gone to bleaching school to confirm this... Black leg, yellow face.

I always imagine this yellow ones, if they were black... A trash of ugliness

Many of them are proud and look down on the blacks

Guys run after them as pretty.. I don't understand

Some guys are even in bleaching industry as well to look 'good'... Nonsense

Note : I am not a racist but I want to know the grunt behind that mentality.

It's not a concept that exists amongst black people it's exsits amongst other races as well. The concept of beauty is skewed.
By the way if you are not impartial it defeats your argument.

Television programming and inferiority complex. Basically, everyone aspires to be a celebrity and to be popular and loved by the masses. when you look on tv, the people you mainly see are white with fair skin and long hair. Whenever you see a black character, they are either the criminals or playing something that is not sophisticated. So human nature pushes the weak minded people with inferiority complex to bleach because they think being fair skinned will give them an advantage in life. The only issue is they are proven to be correct on a regular basis.

Anyway it's a juxtaposition of ideas on what beauty is, which will always bring us to the issue of race. Much fairer individuals from other races tan to look darker and the ones who are darker engage in processes that make them fairer. It was never about the west , as black people we practice some sort of caste system based on melanin levels. That's the issue.

Thank God someone reasons like me. Anytime I see a fair looking damsel, dude, I first imagine her in dark skin and most of them come out ugly and yeah, there is a huge surge of ladies changing their skin colour. With this confirmed, I see no reason I why wouldn't establish a bleaching company in the near future.

Lots of girls I knew to be dark skinned are now fairer than snow. The one that shocked me the most is nairalander who is a friend. She is from Benue and you know most them are naturally dark skinned in a beautiful way. But this lady preferred to change her skin colour.
