Gptech:

Please state the screen size, ram and internal memory you need, we can start from there.
Already that price range should get you xiaomi redmi note 3 pro, redmi 3 pro, redmi 3s prime
This is exactly what i had in mind, but someone here told me its 85k.
Screen size is not actually a problem, the user will appreciate a beautifully crafted device.

Redmi note 3 pro is expensive sha, unless you need the 2 gig ram, 16gig version then you might spend less than 70k.

Great phone though have not handled it, reviews are great. I have handled redmi 3 pro which is very similar. Device is great and compact with very very good battery life.

I remember the sleepless nights we had due to flash sales from Jumia and Konga last year, can you imagine what people will go through when trying to get the xiaomi devices, considering only the population of China. grin

Bros forget, those guys are not competent. They only add colors and new fonts and call it update. No attempt to optimise battery or prevent heating. They keep overloading the already heavy miui.

Even the new global stable update 8.0.6.0 drains more battery than 8.0.5.0. And you begin to wonder what's the use of releasing updates.

Yes, you are correct, some updates look unnecessary because of what you stand to lose in the long run, but thats the fun, thats why its called developer rom. The instability you experience for either stable or developer roms are not the same for everyone actually, thats why they keep working to make for an even better experience. Take for instance the update that correct issues with trigonometric functions in the calculator app is useless to some persons but very important to me. I am one of those who actually prefer miui updates to upgrade of Android rom (though not trying to defend xiaomi team on that), I have more features running Lollipop than those running Marshmallow and thats what I consider a good essence of updates apart from stability and optimisation. I believe with time after the developers are done adding new features, they will focus on stability.
