Choosing your partner for life is definitely no simple decision.

You both have things you both expect from the other but often times, we are so focused on character traits that might not even matter in the long run.

Men need to be very careful when it comes to choosing a wife. You should look beyond some superficial expectations and instead, focus on these three things that could make or ruin your union.

1. How does she manage money?

Money is one of the biggest cause of rift in a marriage. If she is not good with money, it can put the both of you in a tough spot. Find out how she spends and it will tell you a lot about her character. Does she spend beyond her means? Is she more focused on impressing others by engaging in lavish lifestyles whether or not she can afford it? These things stay a lot about her. If your money expectations and habits are not compatible, think twice about a union with her.

2. What is her love language?

We all have different love languages. A love language is a way we all give and receive love. For instance, if you show love by buying gifts and her love language is to be touched, you will both end up being frustrated. She would feel you do not love her and you will feel like your efforts are not appreciated. There are five major love languages (gift giving, words of affirmation, art of service, physical touch and spending quality time). You should both know each other’s love language to avoid tension.

3. What are her expectations?

Every marriage is different so you both need to know what you both need in your marriage. Talk about your expectations. What does your ideal family look like? How will decisions be made? What do you think your roles should be? Discuss and have an agreement you are both comfortable with.

I'll like to add:

How She treats her Friends and Family Members.

Over time the romance and fire in a relationship grows dim and partners become more of companions than hot-lovers. At this time, the way a woman (by extention, a man) is known to treat her father, brothers and others would come into play. So look out for this too.

Seriously this Recession is affecting even Love. Got a lot on my plate that my emotions is not even a factor for now.

It's true that our moms have done so much for us, and we can't repay them enough till we die. However we shouldnt be sentimental and emotional. We would definitely leave our moms. We would spend the rest of our lives living with our wife, she'll have our children and our lives during this period depends largely on her. (she fit poison u one day, and it' over grin

). So we should concentrate more on finding a woman to help us achieve these aims rather than one to please our mom. Granted, take moms advice very seriously. They see farther than we do most time. But those advice should be based on reasons and not emotions.

How does my statement in anyway imply I marry for my mother??

With everything and every way my mother has taught, mentored, and loved me.. I can only say she means the best for me.. How can I forsake that for a woman I just met, not too long ago?? How can I dump or disregard wisdom from my mother who knows what's best for me because I feel an attraction to someone I just met not too long ago?? Where's the sense in that?

Listen man, I don't know about your mother.. But my mother is wise, and I trust her decisions. You said decisions should be based on reasons and not emotions.. I say the same.. Only, your mother is wise and has reason to know if the woman is good for you or not.. Emotion is when you carry your punkass and attach to the moneygrabbing(because a large population of women today are money grabbing monsters) without any word from your mum, and you regret later...
