I'm lady and I just have to create this topic.
I'm tired of the way some naija ladies demean themselves and behave like pretentious or rather still hungry people.
My friend told me a story about what happened to her last week with her new friend and I could tell you I was quite embarrassed.
She went out with this girl to see a guy(actually potential boyfriend)- since he has been asking her out and he wanted to clarify things further.
My friend and this girl got there and this guy started a conversation- it seemed like he only wanted to talk, but he asked them what they felt like eating.
My friend said she was okay, and the other girl gave her a hate face. She was forced to say she wanted some snacks. The girl said she wouldn't want to eat that- 'e no fit reach anywhere'. So, the guy simply put it that she wanted food.
He ordered some food for her and she ate greedily, she also ate out of my friends snacks, she ordered for round two of the food again and forced the guy to buy an expensive bottle of wine.
The guy never cared to look at that side and my friend told me she was disgusted when the guy said that he would like to take her to a store to allow her get some stuffs to take home.
She got there again and she bought ice cream, bread, chocolate chips (like 4-the rectangular ones ' God, i've forgotten the name'. No p with all that, but there was when she went to the eatery section of the store to start eating the ice cream, finished the big-size loaf of bread and also the chocolate chips.
The guy was quite disappointed because it was so obvious she just came out to eat. He told them that he was about time to go 'he was getting frustrated.
And the girl said; no oh. What of take away, the guy said, he had bought her that already and that she chose to eat it there.

She said no; that her take away is mostly candy. By this time, the guy knew he might be stranded, he didn't budget for all this.
She went ahead again and took six boxes of 'Ferrero Rocher( the ones with 6 chocolates inside). One costs around 2,000 to 3,000.
The guy had to humble himself and told her to drop everything that he doesn't even have enough with him, if she didn't want to embarrass herself.
I don't know how it ended, but this is where my friend-Osa ended it when narrating it to me.
Although, i've experienced this too multiple times and it seems these ladies do not do it only to guys/girls, they even do it to their family members.
The rate at which some naija ladies behave hungrily is alarming these days and i'm so ashamed.
And not only too food, but too material things also.
But truth be told, I think that some guys allow all this to happen too.
This ain't a fiction.

This is why I'm very picky when it comes to having female friends. That girl is simply end-time, she thinks she's smart. I only blame the guy for not playing by the rules.

I think your sermon is totally unecesary if the said friend is not a Nairalander, besides, the story scream "Fiction" in all ramification,.

Her friend should have cautioned her, and not even the guy sef.
