ShaqFu: Hold on! We're still in the physical realm here. Let me use a simple realistic scenario by asking this. Haven't you experienced where someone held your hands trying to make you see what he was seeing and yet you couldn't even though you were on the same position with the person, till that object passes by? Or better still, you were the one trying to make the other person see what you were seeing and the person couldn't see it? Will you then conclude that the object wasn't there because you couldn't see what the person was trying to show you or the person didn't see what you were trying to show him.? 4 Likes |

bennyann:Of course, but even if I missed what that person is trying to show me, I still see it in due time. So, nothing is amiss. |

ShaqFu: But at that particular time you didn't see it, Will you then conclude that the object wasn't there because you couldn't see what the person was trying to show you? 1 Like |

bennyann:Of course. "Seeing is believing" is it not. The fact that I missed seeing the object mean the object isn't there, why should I take the other person's word for it? It's now left for me to see the object the person's trying to show me. Until I do, the object isn't there. I believe there's a fallacy of such a thing. |

Your examples regarding delusion are always warped in a myopic manner. You forget that your bank could have hacking restrictions that block out questionable funds which are against their policy. This is exactly how the natural and spiritual are. The natural cannot fathom the spiritual because it has natural restrictions against that so no matter what the spiritual does the natural cannot percieve it which was why the Bible says A carnal mind is enmity with God...It cannot receive of God neither can it know it. What lifts this natural restriction is called Faith for without it you cannot receive or give to God. If you think Theists are delusional for leaning towards the spiritual even when human then ask yourself how atheists are viewed for holding firmly solely to the natural and still claim to be openminded. 2 Likes 1 Share |

ShaqFu: Very well then. I can understand the one who doesn't believe because he did not see. But the one who couldn't see the object can't conclude the other that said he saw did not see. The fact that you didn't see doesn't mean there was no evidence of an object. And this was due to your perception limit. In other words, our perceptions are individually based. So I think it's OK when I say they can't go beyond what their own eyes can see . 3 Likes 2 Shares |

bennyann: Blessed are they who though have not seen..yet believe. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Thid is why we are so different from Atheists. Our perceptions differ. Theists have a higher perception while Atheists have a lower one but assume they have the higher one through logic. 3 Likes |

bbfever: Good one dear. Sometimes you have to come down to their level to explain things to them for easy understanding. Do you know even scientists believe 'everyone do not see things the same way' They really need to borrow the eyes of the others who see what they can't see. 1 Like |
Re: An Atheist Encountered Powers In Dunamis; There Is God Ooooo by bbfever(f): 9:43am On Nov 11, 2016 |
bennyann: Very true but when one comes down to their level to explain to them they often still insist that you go up to your level and explain it from there when they cannot even understand it from your level thereby making us go round and round in circles. Yes science has said that eveb physically our perceptions depend on our field of view but I am sure they would conveniently brush that off and say since we believe in the spiritual and they dont then the spiritual we know has no field of view because it does not exist. Such delusion is beyond understanding. |

Tonyosas101:I have seen Muslim girls who were raised in the Mosque become Christians. I have haboured one in my house because of persecution from her family. Hawa, from Bornu state. Her father is a Chief of the Muslim community in the area they live. She was invited to Winners Chapel where she gave her life to Christ, and against all odds resisted to marry an old man they presented her to as a third wife. She left the house to stay with a friend, her father went there and scattered the place, threaten to harm the girl who squatted his daughter, she was asked out of the house, not having anywhere to go, she started sleeping in the Church, thats how i saw her and took her home. Say what you know and not what u dont. I know many Christian girls who have met and married muslim men. So pulizzzzzzzz. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Pastafarian:And am sure you didnt see the part i said she was invited to Winners Chapel. That to you is not seeking knowledge outside the Mosque? What do you say to the Christian girls who marry muslim men, which knowledge did they sort to be converted to Islam? 1 Like |

Anas09: this agrees with his point which I reiterated, or is there something I'm missing? What do you say to the Christian girls who marry muslim men, which knowledge did they sort to be converted to Islam? there's a reason they were even open minded enough to marry a Muslim |
Re: An Atheist Encountered Powers In Dunamis; There Is God Ooooo by Anas09: 11:01am On Nov 11, 2016 |
Pastafarian:Now you agree that religious people are open minded? I for one almost became a New Age Believer because i kept an open mind. It is still the open mind you guys accuse us of not keeping. I guess when an atheist says "Keep an open mind", he means do not believe God exists. Keeping an open mind to you is, allow doubt to sit firmly in you, boubt everything that you can't see and can't make sense of. If you dont doubt you are diluded. I wonder why you dont doubt your brian. Guy, i keep and open mind, you should try doing the same. . 2 Likes 1 Share |

Anas09: how does this relate to the discussion at hand? that guy said But its very possible if she strives for other knowledge outside mosque, she might even be converted after getting her facts that's the point I'm reiterating here "if she strives" that doesn't mean..... Now you agree that religious people are open minded?which kain dishonest generalisation and strawman be dis na? that a few religious people are open minded enough to marry from other religion, open minded enough to give another religion a try doesn't make it true of all to prove this, answer this question "CAN YOU MARRY A MUSLIM"? 2 Likes |
