3. No. I dont do any external promo for now. May start that later in the process.

4. I have books that 60 pages. Some 190. some 200 + pages. I have just learned that the higher the number of pages the more value oyibo tend to think they'll get from it.

5. For now, I am writing on my passions and core call I have for my life. But I will soon branch out. I have learnt to just look for books that are selling and write on them. I have books that are not selling at all and ones that sell one-two-three daily.

Since the ban on Naira Mastercard for international business, I depend on my payoneer card and income I make from amazon. I have paid for WES Certificate Evaluation (245 Canadian dollars) for a client planning to migrate to Canada, whose Naira Mastercard was declined, I buy things like Wrist watches (with working chronograph), USB led (lamp), power banks, T-shirts and shoes on aliexpress and sell them (note: things are cheaper on aliexpress than Jumia and Konga, but it take btw 2 - 3weeks to arrive because I use free shipment), I have used my payoneer card to pay for a lecturer journal article to be publish on an international journal and got the naira equivalent paid to me. Why am I saying all this? U can make a living if u take amazon kindle publishing serious.

For those that can't write, I will give u books (converted to kindle format by me) for N500 each and free cover design, this is just to encourage u guys. U can't make it on amazon with just one or two books, no way. I have 25 books already published on kindle and plans to make it 30 b4 next weekend, I have about 150 unpublished books, I just need to tidy them up, design covers for them, convert to kindle format and publish. The secret is keep publishing. Now the question is how do I get my books? This is a secret I share with only those in my inner circle.

Keep publishing and the recession won't even bother u. You can make up to $50 USD on the average every month if u have more than 15 books without promoting ur book and this figure can go as high as $500 per month with paid promotions (e.g amazon promotion, google adword promotion or facebook promotion). I promote my books using free alternatives such as twitter. One of my secrets is to open a twitter account ( with "oyinbo man pix" make una no blame me o, man must hustle), search for kindle books related topics and I will comment about the book on a trending hash tag, then I will drop a link to my book on amazon, men it converts very well though not up to paid advert. Planning to do paid advert when I am through with my website where I have all my books plus their links to my amazon kindle store. I don't intend to promote individual books, but a link to all my books, that way, I will carry all my books along in the scheme of things.

But for now, I am sticking to my twitter approach, and people who just come across my books and make purchase. I like it when I download may sales in Excel format and scrutinize it on the 15th of every month, and I love those emails from Payoneer that scream "You have received payment" at the end of the month. This is what I do and it's been fun.

Ignore the bank option for now and start uploading your books. Later you can apply for Payoneer and use the US Bank info that Payoneer gives

The USA bank account provided by Payoneer works for all marketplaces no matter the currency. Each country's earning will be converted to dollars and paid to you. Sometimes there could be delays in payment but it is always sorted out within a few days. This month, I'm still waiting for payment from Australia and some European countries.

What a wonderful and exponential profit that you have made Bros 1234. You have indeed motivated some people like us. However, I want to learn from you, how come did you get 20 books within such a short time. Did you write all the books and if you did, how fast. Did you outsource some of your books. If you did, how much did you invest in your business. Again, give me your personal hint on niches. Outside that, if you can tell me things that will help me on Kindle publishing, I will be grateful. amazon is having a serious glitch at the moment since ending of september,. my sales and kenp read which normally 700-1300 is now flat lined to zero. many authors were affected and amazon is screwed up at the moment trying to fix it. as for the KU debacle, i think we are not properly monetized, if this scenario continues, i will be forced to go wide.http://www.kboards.com/index.php/topic,242225.225.html

Some authors do sell 5000 books per day though and kenp of around 300k daily, we will reach their level one day,. The key is to write a best seller and stuff it with ads, promos, mailing list etc. If truly the glitch has not reached your side then count yourself among the lucky few. I know they are working on it though.

I am praying and believing God and working towards beeing able to sell 100 books a day, that's like 3,000 books a month. I know it's tall, but as I get better, both at marketing and at content, I know I will reach there...hopefully in 2 years time.

And by the way, you are doing very well. 300 books with only two titles. I hope I could learn from you. I believe that if you have more books, you'll get past 1,000/month easily.

Please, I need help urgently. I trying to upload a book to Amazon, but it tells "We encountered a problem while processing your file. THIS error may be due to a unsported or incorrectly formatted file. Please try uploading a different format.". The book contains alot of pictures. When I convert the book to doc from docx it scatters the book and picture. The same happens on Web page filtered form. Please, I am currently online please, to upload my first book for commercial sale. I want to sell with this book. Is there any way to upload book with pictures in a different form or way.

TRY COVERTING YOUR FILE TO PDF FORMAT. you can do this when saving the final file on microsoft word but make sure you have the original file as .doc or docx for future use.
