Good evening my nana people. I need an advise from you, I have been to the embassy twice between August 31st and October 13th but was refused, I went with devry university Keller graduate school of management i20. 12th intervew sessions were brief but I was refused.
I now have anothr i20 from Western illinoi university for spring, now, my mom I my sponsor as against an uncle that we don't even bear the same surname but I applied earlier for Masters in network and computer management but at WIU, I applied for Physics. I have 6 years working experience in IT at a commercial bank, I want to appear again, please help me with advise.
Thank you

Sorry to hear this but typically the sponsor might not be the issue..... loads of people have been given visa with uncle and aunty sponsor who did not bear their surname . ....... its hardly an issue from transcripts i have swen here....i think u need to focus perhaps more on your other responses and how u sell yourself .

All the best

Someone tried to hack my account. The person is still trying or is running some kind of automated script. I've gotten like 800 email reset codes.

Hi guys, I need quick answers from those that have used British Airways before/recently. Do one has to get a transit visa for stop over in London when traveling from either US - Nigeria or Nigeria - US with BA?

Thanks!

I'm using a Samsung phone with yahoo app running 24/7. Whenever I try to login on any computer, a dialogue opens on my phone yahoo app where I can accept or decline login. As such, I don't have to key in any password before logging in to my email on any computer. Such double security pass is the latest way of preventing email hacking. Try set up one if you're using yahoo mail and an android phone.

With BA, KLM, AF, Virgin or any European airline as long as you have a valid US visa or papers then you dont need transit visa for stopover ....... (they scrapped transit for people with US visa or Canadian visa since like 2008 or so ) ....... . However you cannot come out of the airport or pass through immigration during your transit time

If you want to come out of the airport and see london or any european city/ stopover then you need a visa .

Can you share a transcript of either one?
One of them goes like this
Me- good morning
VO- good morning, can i have your i20?
I passed it across
VO- I can see you were here before, do you know about the course?
Me- I told him its Master's in Network and Communication Management
VO- I won't be approving your visa, you may reapply.
I then asked him what is the problem exactly since I'm being refused on the same ground with the first time, he told me all the reasons are contained in the blue sheet of paper handled to me
Now, I have admission at WIU, I'm single at 33, the course is not related with my work experience, what advise can i get please? Classes start this january

my transcript.. The interview was very fast, special thanks to GOD

VO: Good morning, how are you doing today, Can I have your passport and I20 please(with a big smile on his face)
ME: Good morning I am fine( I gave him the passport and all other doc, including ds160, sevis, gtb receipt. He selected the i20 and the passport out and returned the others.)
VO : Tell me about the information technology program at NIU
ME: Actually the program name is MIS not IT ( but I.T was written on the i20 form)
VO : He looked at the I20 , Okay just tell me about the MIS program at NIU
ME: I will be taking courses like ( I listed some of the courses), I will be completing the program in approximately 24 months, (He cuts in)
VO: What is your undergraduate course
Me: Business Administration
VO : Why the switch
ME : It is really not a switch, Business administration covers, MIS, HRM, marketing and few others and businesses in Nigeria is moving from manual systems to automated systems of operation, computerized methodology is being integrated in business procedures even in decision making (I stopped immediately I saw him take my pp and kept it inside the small basket and brought out the white paper )

I am not sure if he said your visa has been approved or all that formalities, only what I heard was when he gave me back my i20 and said you will be needing this and circled the white collection paper. I said thank you sir.
Congrats. You were so on point. The VO knew that and so, didn't want to waste any time to approve your visa.

@Ecaay, note this method and you shall be successful.

You need to stop changing schools , courses and sponsors because that will soon ring bells of an intending runaway migrant....... especially if u changing to courses not related

Did u write any test ? ...all that also adds to credibility. Your first rejection was Devry University ....that school is a big No no . Its mainly an online school amd hardly a good school.

Make sure your next interview is for a credible school and u have good test scores and be ready to sell yourself experience and future goals well and immediately and be ready to answer what changed in your application . Take each question as an opportunity to sell why u are there

Do you know about this course? Not just stating it, you ought to have gone ahead to explain it. This is what the VO wanted from you. And the best way is to show how smart you are by giving good response.

You missed the English. The man already seen your I-20 and wanted to clarify if you really know what you are doing. Do you know about and what is, of course is not the same.

For instance, do you know about "Business Administration" means I want you to tell me more about this major. I want you to talk like a smart person. Whereas, what is your course or major requires you to simply say "Business Administration."

He later became disappointed or angry and asked you to read the paper he gave you.

Hope you got my dripts? Sorry for your denial. Just stay more here and read past transcripts, you shall get your visa next time.

When a VO is moving on a higher frequency cheesy, the best way to slow him or her down is to say you are very nervous.

He or she will take it easy on him and you can intelligently divert his or her attention with regard to the situation.

Sorry but you have answered this yourself!
You are 33 (very old)
You are still single (bad immigration risk)
course is not related with my work experience (even worse risk)

You have presented a very poor application full of red flags to the VO.

Since the day i paid Sevis i couldnot sleep well. All i could think of is Nov 15th, US embassy, VO questions etc. Fast forward to the embassy gate, i saw so many huslers around calling customers to come and print, staple , take passport and all. I did the normal screening and my transcript goes like this :

Me: good morning ma
Vo: *frown face* she didnt answer
Vo: Why are you goin to the US ?
Me: am going for my masters in international relations with specialization on National security at Troy university alabama. This course will enable me understand the nature of relations between states and the role played by international organisations.
Vo: *still frowning face* what's your plan after school?
Me: i'll be coming back home to take a research job with the ministry of foreign affairs *vo cuts in *
Vo: have you ever travel out before ?
Me: No
Vo: why ? ?
Me : shocked *am not prepared for dis kind of question o* i have nothing to do outside the country, its my education that's taking me out for the first time.
Vo: who's you sponsor
Me: my dad
Vo: what does he do ?
Me: he's a businessman and also *vo cuts in*
Vo: have this, i'll be approving your visa . *i sharply collect am ready to fly comot grin* hold on you'll be needing your i-20 at the POE to avoid issues with immigration. * i no even answer her*
Jump out of the room anf give thanks to baba God.

It's a family member who is a US resident and visiting Nigeria. So no visa. KLM and AF I know cos I took them recently but London is the concern but now I would let the person know it's all clear. Thank you!
