When I read that book about the adventure of Mr & Mrs Bako, their children Biola and Alade, I have a made up my mind to have the same adventure to tour Nigeria when I grow old and have my family like them, but the fear of Boko Haram killed this ambition.

Anyone that missed those good school days missed a lot.

I still remember books like.....

Edet, Ralia, Ayawa in Apampa Village, Mr Sada, Nkem and Apo.

Gandoki, LOL! I remember that one. Drawn where he was telling kids about his conquests.

Some of those books aren't supposed to be recommended, eg Oliver Twist. When i read it as an adult, i got a diff picture from what i understood then. Its capable of corrupting a child...

Koku Baboni was the very 1st literature book I read in school, Pry2. I was selected to be the very 1st person to read a paragraph after the library teacher.

Very nostalgic.

when i see stuff like this i just feel emotional , do you remember then there was nothing liking bombing, you could hardly hear of mass killing life was Good obi must turn a man #iNeverUsedAny but my siblings and friends did hahaha i do snik take it and read but return it back

The gods are not to blame by Ola Rotimi. Enjoyed William Shakespeare's books, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth. Interesting books.
