Soyinka can lie for Africa. He said he will "cut up his green card" and pack his bags and leave USA once Trump wins.
Now he is talking of "throwing it away".

Soyinka is a Professor of literature and an expert in letters and words. He is using words to fool us.
He threw it into his hand luggage.

If he is truly relocating, has he sold his house in the US?
Did he ship his personal effects?
has he sold or given away his car in the US, or he was riding keke over there?
Has he cancelled his credit cards?
Did he pack all his books in his university office, and hand in his office keys?

All these things can be checked?

Next year we will do a check, and lets hope we wont find out he is still filing his tax returns.

Nigerians and Soyinka! I laugh. Local champion. Nobody knows him. He just got the Africa quota for Nobel in Literature and we no hear word again for 30 years. Just so you know, musician Bob Dylan is this year's winner of the same prize and the guy didn't even bother to respond to the award for days. America is tired of all these hopeless people from failed societies calling themselves "writers" who can not do anything to better their countries. Shior!
