Thanks so much @ladyG; the documents were quiet hhelpful. Please, one of the requirements was having a tie back home, please can having her husband and my sibling serve? I doubt if her bank account is actually active as she runs a small business just to keep busy. What other ways can she prove the strong tie as she will definitely returning home? Sorry for my many question

Lemme start by saying I didn't see anything bad or iota of DESPIRATION in d question u asked,we shouldn't forget no one is an island.Coming to dis forum to ask question doesn't mean u dnt knw wat u are doing atall.Buh u are here to acquire a well detailed exposure and knowledge abt ur case.So I wil implore all d gurus in dis forum nt to be jumping to an hasty conclusion on some cases tabled here.
Sir,to ur question,no need of changing state,stick to d former state u used in ur last interview......so it won't stand as inconsistences on ur part,in as mch u want to involve ur uncle as ur tourist guide.
Note:ur uncle can't leave his work and touring wit u to another state.
Sir,wat matter most is ur purpose of travelling and ur ties back home to naija.Coz of this I wil advise u to romance google a bit to knw some attractive spots in d state u want to choose.
However,I want to use my remaining mb better b4 d implementatn of d new data charges.Dis opportunity might nt be there to type so long again.

What is the reason(s) behind the request for the statement of account; is it to check how money flows in and out of the account or is it to check if the owner can afford to sponsor the trip?
What if the assumed minimum account balance was paid into the account one week before the interview, is there any problem?

He will be back by jan and he said he want his wife , daughter and I to go for tourism by feb. My question is will he apply for me and his wife and daughter together as a family or will I apply by myself as an individual going for visition. If he apply for us as family will he follow us to the embassy during the visa interview.. Need a sincere advice pls.. Thanks

Morning everyone , actually I'm very new on this page and joined nairaland like some days ago. But I will like to ask or know if anyone is still following this thread or how does it work because I see people not contributing again or following !!!
I said that because I did not see a reply to my question till the date of my interview and till now that im writing back here.
Despite all I will like to share my experience here!!! I had my interview December 2016 and it was awesome,God did intervain and all Glory to Him only! Allelujah. I had 2 denial In the past in Abuja. only me once and the second one was me,wife and my child in Abuja for visit visa and my brother invited me.

VO : Good afternoon with a smile at window 4
We : Good afternoon with a smile ( not gud afternoon ma)
VO :Your passport please
We : My wife passed the passport while I was holding 2envelopes with document
VO : what are you going to do in the usa ?
Me : February 18th is our 7th wedding anniversary we are going on a vacation to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary.
VO nodding and typing
Me : ( I was like u people again & thinking hmmm that only God know what is typing now but was praying silently and I think wife will be praying too)
VO : What do you do?
Me : I'm into sales of automobile,buying and selling of landed properties. ( she was busy typing again and I was like hmmmm this people call consular self with their conclusion o ga oooo but still praying ),along that line one of our passport was scanned and past separately beside her ( note : not in her front beside her where lot of passport are ) and at this junction I think d story change.
VO : ma'am what do you do ?
Wife: I run a supermarket ( still typing and checking d oda passport )
VO : Have you both travel out of Nigeria before?
Both of us : Yes
VO : where ?
We : uk dubai ( at this point she was typing and said sorry my system is lil slow,I said aiit and my wife said it okay and at this junction I was already feeling relaxing, not that I'm sure of the outcome buh d flowing unlike when we started, she asked along that line d last time we visited uk and wife answered )
VO : How many days are you spending
Both of us : 13 days
VO : Did you av children?
We: Yes
VO : pick up ur visa so so so in 2days ( at that junction my ears was blocked with joy and wife just collected the slip and we left .)

Lesson & cleared Story :
In all the above interview we were only ask 4 questions,all question I prepared for was not ask and same with wife. No story about my past denial no question about my financial status,where are we staying because it was hotel reservation I made. She did not even ask of where in usa we are going or any common and strict question at all.

Story and pick a point :
I'm written this for every one to be more vigilant,my 1st denial was in Abuja while I gave my form to a tout to fill for me( i did not pay him for visa processing because im not a novice about visa processing & hes not d consular to grant visa ) he only fill d form for me i paid his charges then and my 2nd denial was a stupid guy in America who think he's d consular,and charged me ridiculous amount I think 800k then . He package my wife was working in a company while my wife has her company registered since 2010,my wife warn Me about that arrange of that package buh I never listen instead I listened to Mr usa guy without knowing that d guy even just got to usa then,this bagger pushed me again to apply for schenge visa like he's doing me a favour without knowing anything about schenge visa because everything he told me was so wrong,it was at d vsf I was changing a lot of things I took there and I called him straight away that he doesn't know anything about what he told me to do and even the form he gave me was an old schenge form that they won't accept for submission buh at end d visa was also denied and I realised Mr usa know nothing buh wanna screw my money . All this story happened 2014.
This when I made my decision and stop usa application, one morning I said to myself if I'm qualify and the answer was yes buh usa visa logic is different from been qualify due to all my experience with them and I said to myself I will apply for uk since my answer to be qualified is yes and the journey began. Have visit uk many times of course I av visited dubai many times, I still av a valid uk visa till 2019 then I decided to come and clean my mess 2016 with usa, of course I won't give tout my ds160 form again to fill because then I never know of ds160 form and yes no Mr usa to screw me again, I proceded and went tru all my past form and realized the guy that filled my first denial made a lot of blunders in the form because hes only after the money and yes Mr usa lied to package my wife working as stock brocker in a company lol. I filled my form without using invitation letter from my brother yes I indicated I av a brother in usa at my ds160,and I said my wife now run supermarket and the story ends .

Advice: My advice is that there's always a first time buh be sure it a mistake you can easily correct because there are some mistake you can never correct and will come to hunt you seriously. Have people that have the experience to guide you, practice your question and answer very well for like 2 or 3 weeks . This will help you a lot during ur interview if twisted question was ask during panic. Yes anyone will be panic during interview regardless of numbers of experience and the reason is that u don't know what's coming out of the consular in respect of whom you are or your honest and eligible,once decision is make its made finally till you come back again !!! That alone is enough to be panic and knowing you can't question d judgment buh please maintain the panic within u and don't make it open so the consular won't see u because to him or her it's call desperate,once u practice u will av something to say at anytime and if u did not say it well at first u av d right to say it again .

Did you now see that my interview deserve a lot of questions because i should have a lot to answer for buh I was only ask 4question . In fact my appointment was scheduled for 11,buh when I got there I'm like number 10 on the long queue mistakingly I did not print out my receipt so I was sent back,I printend just 2recept for 2k instead of 200naira smile,before I'm done I'm like 10 to d last lol , but I took the faith and had my interview in the afternoon. We fasted and pray morning & night. It a miracle God. Thanks you lord . Hope you have a lesson to pick and thanks for reading. Oh Note : ..... when I was filling the form. I click yes at my journey plan which a lot of people will say no buh that was the question I'm trying to ask on this thread buh no1 answer me .
