I understand ya predicament op, that doesn't make u the worst person on earth, and what u need now is therapy, this is how I overcame mine
1. I refill those schnapps, spirit and camparis with water.

2. any time I crave alcohol I pour out those water from on a glass and take em and pretend am taking alcohol and belive me it worked.

3.try as much as possible to have a new hobbies like watching seasonal movies or any thing that will make u happy apart alcohol
and for the sex, issue try as much as possible to maintain one girlfriend live a good sex life style.

4. At this point try as much as possible to do away with those friends you hang out with that makes u live those life style
do these things and see how things turns out for u, u will be amazed before your birthday of how better your life have become

This is what happens when the human soul is degenerated, you lose control over it and the your begins to auto pilot itself and sometimes lands in destruction.

Alcohol addiction is very easy to break if you agree to elevate your soul, I have few things you can easily do and it will be over. But I doubt you would listen because I know what xtianity has done to lots of people here on Nairaland. They are so Blind.

You have done well by acknowleging your addiction. the truth is you cant stop this on ur own no matter how strong the will is, u need to see a psychiatrist who would help you to gradually forget this habbit. N dont think psychiatrist only treat lunatics, dts a wrong impression. they treat depression, addiction etc. seek help n get helped.
