I dey go open account for Access sharp sharp to get their card. Who knows if I can get d Access bank card immediately after opening an account, and which one is better, their MasterCard or Visa

How long does it take to get Access debit card after opening an account?

Do they issue VISA cards?

Good morning and a happy Sunday to everyone. Want to ask especially for those that have submitted applications in the past for masters or PhD(whether successful or not).
How long does it usually take to hear back from schools one applied to especially as an international student?
Thanks

Varies from school to school, just check the admission timeline/application process. Some will say "allow 4-5weeks" after deadline.

Welcome to the house! I'm going for a PhD in Social sci. You've got several partners! Don't be scared of those Asians, just concentrate on aceing the GRE and TOEFL first.

Only consider rewriting if you have time and are sure the improvement is worth it. If you had say Q- 166 V- 140. I would tell you pointedly that a retake will be unnecessary seeing that you are an engineering student whose Q ably represents his stronger skill. Your TOEFL could help augment the weak V score.

That notwithstanding I think you should make do with this score now even if you are considering a retake as your GPA is competitive. I personally am beginning to think the GRE is overrated based on the information I have been reading online. In fact, on Nairaland, someone got admitted into LSU with a 306 (Q- 156 V- 150) whilst someone else with a 332 said he did not experience any benefit. People's experiences differ sha. The synopsis.

These suggestions are laudable but the most important ways to do well in any exam is to be able to understand what you study and to be able to remember what you have learned. There are techniques to accomplish this.Visit informationpowerNG.com to learn more.

Yeah, you can still do something with this score. There are a lot of decent schools that accept 300 and above. Although, seeing that you are going for an MSc., getting funding might be difficult. By the way, was the test much more difficult compared to practice test especially Powerprep?

Still waiting on the TOEFL to complete it. Some Faculty members replied but not based on working with them or anything. I am just whetting the ground in preparation to chyke them. A few schools want you to submit an application first before contacting faculty members because some of them check your suitability through that, even before opting to interview you.

The wait is crazy I agree.

The test is much more difficult in Q and about the same difficulty level in V (especially if you do well in the first V). This is based on my 2nd experience. Perhaps, selecting "unenrolled college graduate" has a role to play in why that was so. I was hoping to get Ebdib's 168 or Topiipii and Chem Engr01's 167 Q but when I started seeing GRE questions with paragraphs, I started telling God that any score above 156 is not bad grin

Hello guys,

Hope you're all doing great.

I couldn't make my initial GRE test date, so I cancelled it, chose a date that I felt would give me ample time to prepare, and re-registered through B.Y. Mafit.

However, one week after re-registering and receiving an order confirmation from ETS, I got a Payment Failure Notice from ETS with the following message:

"Dear Manwonder,

We are unable to process your payment. Please note that this may result in an outstanding balance being posted to your account. Please contact ETS to resolve this issue.

Sincerely,

GRE Services"

When I checked my ETS account, I saw a notification from ETS saying I had the following outstanding payments:

Electronic Chargeback Service Fees from Order - $20
Outstanding Balance from Order - $205
Total - $225

I got in touch with B.Y. Mafit, and they said they would sort it out, but that it wouldn't affect my test registration, as my test appointment was intact and the appointment information still indicated the appointment date and venue I had selected.

Please guys, I want to find out:

1. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, what is the implication?

2. Has anyone tried B.Y. Mafit before? If so, what was your experience like?

3. Could it be that B.Y. Mafit was trying to act funny with ETS?

4. How can this situation be remedied?

Thanks guys!

Well, I have not had similar issue as this.

However, I know that BY Mafit is genuine, and so many people here have successfully used them for GRE registration without any hitch. I also used them last week for my TOEFL registration, and I didn't encounter any issue.

I am sure BY Mafit will rectify the issue for you since they gave you the assurance.

I wish you all d best in your test.
