You have said it all thank God you been to Oghara . U can imagine how those guy go dey this weekend . The guy is a grassroot politician so he paid attention to his people . Look at the past governor there is no rd to his village . .Have you been to that teaching Hospital in Oghara ? ?Everyone shouting thief thief very few people know the reason he went to Jail in the UK . If nah lie make we do the census . grin grin
This 13% oil derivative everybody dey make noise put it was the hand work of this Gangsta lol
Yea, you're right. The teaching hospital at Oghara, the Poly's he established in the state, the roads he built, youth empowerment etc are all the reasons i said he tried earlier. That's the truth and i am not blind to it, I don't do sentiments, not a sycophant and will never lick anyone's asssss, lolz..

Yes he spearheaded the drive for 13% oil derivation for the Niger Delta region, I believe na the major reason for him fallout with Baba Sege be that, inspite of all this good deeds he was milking us in million folds, just like rat dey eat underneath ur foot and dey blow you so you don't even know what's happening until it's done, only then will you understand the extent of damage it has caused you.. Lemme me just drop a hint, do you know he's one of the major reasons Oceanic bank packed up? What about Econet? And i agree no be only him Bleep up, there are some others who did worse but this is Nigeria and the kind politics here na DIE, he for stil dey kponkpi dey enjoy him loot but his unforgivable sin was over ambition (See my siggy ) , na wetin put am for where him dey so..

P. S... I like him, he is bold and courageous, daring, a visionary, a leader and a boss combined, lol.. But behind the scene the guy na beast, like you rightly said gangsta.

Ibori remain the best governor to have ruled delta state. Agreed, he stole, but show me that politician who is not a thief. What matter is how your governance better the life of the common man. That was what Ibori was when he was a governor. The developmental status of delta state left when he left. This show you how influential he was even in jail. Anybody living in delta state knows this. Ibori went to jail not because he stole just like his fellow politicians but because he fought with the power that be then (jonathan)

So looting the state treasury that is meant to develop the infrastructures like Roads, Hospital, School, Industry, Agriculture, Electricity, e.t.c is now the Ibos definition of "bettering the life of the common man"? shocked shocked

I weep for this generation, especially from the South East!

I stilll remember when I was told The Great Ogboru went to PTI stadium to campaign during the elections against Ibori. It was a massacre . The police guns were like toys but when Ibori's boys came offload guns from the booth of a car the sound of the guns were thunderous . Students lost their lives some maimed for life. God have mercy.

Who are we to blame for that

. My friend, all Nigerian politicians are thief. Just a few go to jail for the crime they commit. My problem with these politicians is that while still looting, they don't perform. Get that straight

the mentality is bad no doubt but ask yourself, is Nigeria ready to change? the answer is no so let's play the ball. Na where they favour man e dey put hand. if you wan to help issues, oga at the top go displace you put him boy..we dn see all this things before. Na to do your own chop your own move ahead.. one lv
But e good like that That's not and can never be the solution. I bet this is the reason the Fg inaugurated the #ChangeBeginsWithMe or so movement... is a big shame to the Nigerian judiciary...

Yes!
We allow them in our individual and collective foolishness, preferring CRUMBS of privilege to our wholesome CAKE of rights.
Tell me, why should anyone with an iota of grey matter praise, adore, honour and give awards to a governor, LGA Chairman or even private sector employer who has not paid salaries and pensions for work already DONE? Do you know?

I refuse to agree with you say nothing good go fit come out of this country, i see one of ur earlier post wey you say Naija no go better in a 100years time. I'm a believer, you should believe too.. Leave those senators matter, when we don start the move from down small e go reach top one day, coz weda you believe it or not someday responsibilities go reach our turn for this country so by then e go easy to effect the kind change we want...

Will you people stop all this nonsense please, it because of this mentality people term us Deltans as Mediocre, Corrupt and Ignorant..

Why stare evil in the eye and condone it, coz others haven't been brought to book Alot of us are like parents who would support and protect our children in their evil deeds, we won't chastise and correct, then when the child grows up to become something terrible we begin to cry for mercy and help..

What is wrong is wrong whether others are covering theirs or not..... With such support for evil and corruption how do we still claim to be Christians and Muslims, we go to church and the mosque to offer prayers, to which God? Jeeeeeeez

Oga,for a glass of milk must we kill a cow?? Even the "proverbial prodigal son" was accepted by his father...Should he be killed because of what he did? My annoyance lies with the fact that only a selected few are being picked on..Why are the Abachas walking freely? Why is Tinubu being hailed as the Jagaban?
Now,the problems we the Southerners have is the fact that we hate ourselves...Ibori might not be the Angel we want, but as our Son,we will welcome him...

Is that because most Delta people are mumus or what?
Do you mind explaining?
Thanks.

Don't get it twisted, oga.
"Most Delta people are mumus"? No.

Arguably, the most intelligent and civilized people of the South south region, I think.

The truth is, the workings of governance in this part of the world makes people like him more and more relevant, even after their time in active politics is spent. He practises the "all-inclusive" style. He identifies with all cadres. The rich and the poor. The haves and the have-nots.

The guy has built himself to such a height that if he bats an eyelid, things would move. He also has groomed and replicated more people like him, that's why he can, from the corner of the prison walls, decide who becomes governor. He chose Uduaghan and now Okowa. He's the kind of guy you hate to like, but you're left with no choice.

So, all of these and more are just what goes on beneath.
