How do we know this isn't cyber bullying or intimidation? That's how these bloggers facilitate crime and criminality. The Op in a desperate attempt to get traffic shared a post with someone's name, phone number, picture and private information on a public forum without verifying the story-there is no proof that s/he is an MMM subscriber or that they were paired or joined or whatever. This is incredulous! And it got to front page Did the mods even bother to do a simple security check? Now the guy is on blast, people are putting his private life on display, thanks to Nairaland.

If i decide to post my enemy's phone number, picture and private info with a bogus story this is how Nairaland will aid and abet the commission of a felony??

From his own side of the story he is not denying he was overpaid by the OP but has not been able to Withdraw from the account because he opened a student account which has a limit of withdrawal.
Now he requires a valid means of identification by the bank so that his account can be upgraded and be able to touch his money and then pay back the OP.


OP,agreed you have every right to be jittery and worried about your money but if the account of the story Chukwudi gave is right, then he shouldn't be condemned as a criminal.
Maybe the way you may have spoken or reacted to his explanations prompted his barring you.

He assured me that he will definately give the OP back his money as soon as gets a valid means of identification and I have reasons to believe he will stick by his words.

And this story is believable, however, exactly what I have been telling my friends and acquaintances online is, "anything that involves money transaction online, if you don't deliver no matter your reasons, KEEP COMMUNICATIONS OPEN".

Breakdown in communication, is one of the top reasons that online entrepreneurs like us are labeled scammers or fraud. NEVER EVER let your name be indexed by Google as a scammer. The Internet never forgets.
