Bro. if I give you my letter of explanation and you don't feel convinced about the relationship with both courses, I will jump third mainland bridge for you. . .hahaha. No, no work experience relation with the course.

Maybe I should enlighten people a bit, Information Studies is like MBA, anybody with any degree can take it. Poof! All I needed was a good write up.

Anyway, you see why I didn't wanna share this until my visa is out. So I can seal up the testimony, but I had to encourage people here, I had to do it.
Bro thanks for the heads up oh! please can you share d convincing letter of explanation with me? thanks Bro

WOW...good to see my GBC pple here...God'll get your visa for u...
we just finished fall semester, Orientation starts this week for new students coming in for Winter 2017.

Hi TemitopeJ16. We are in the same shoes. Applied Oct 13 for PGC at GBC. No update from CIC. Its like PGC applicants(Paper route) are been placed on hold. I have not witnessed a trv refusal or testimony for PGC winter (paper route) on this thread. The closest I have seen is a PGD. Please be patient cos I believe VO is thorough with our application. Let's still be hopeful. Cheers![/quote]

People are being bombed in Syria, do you want to swap places with them and move to Aleppo? Be compassionate. Your situation is not worse than the Syrian getting bombed, avoiding bombs, and experiencing lethal carnage everywhere. Only a very tiny fraction of war-torn Syrians are being admitted as refugees, you are welcome to move to Aleppo if you feel this gives you a better chance of getting into Canada. Have some empathy.

Lol. If a stop over there can get one to Canada, are you sure some Nigerians won't try it?

Haba fear God na ... 8k tuition fee per session alone is the cheapest college have seen during my search and Memorial University is the cheapest I know for University.

Budget btw 400 to 650CAD monthly for a decent accommodation around New Brunswick. But 1st focus on getting your admission and proceed to visa processing.

400 to 650 around NBCC? Na penthouse the person won dey stay??

Hi house ,please,I need ur urgent advice !
I got admission from Niagara College,ON to study Critical Care Nursing this year, to resume by Sept '16 but I deffered it to Jan'17 because I was unable to pay my tuition fee due to No form A blablabla from banks and I was told by the school that if I mistakenly refuse to resume by Jan'17 with intention of resuming by May'17,i would have to pay another $500 CAD undecided (application fee).
The issue now is,I applied online on 24th Sept, had biometrics done on 28th September'16 and since then, till now, nothing has been heard from CIC but just " Thanks for being patient" of which I sent a mail to Accra and I was told my application was on queue pending processing.
I discussed with an agent today, though, I applied online by myself. And the agent told me that I can get a Lawyer who will assist me in sending a mail/ letter to the school, then school gets in touch with CIC which could make the processing faster.
My main questions are:
1. How appropriate is it to send a letter from a lawyer to the school?
2. Do u think school has any "say" about VISA processing
3. What's d probability that if school interferes,my visa application will be processed faster.
4.School resumes on 9th,Jan '17.Is there still hope for me? NOTE: No medical examination been done ooo
Thanks so much!

The schools in Canada are always reluctant to interfere with visa application. I think it is very unfair of your school to demand additional payment of 500 CAD if you eventually have to resume in May.

I am due to resume in January too, and sent an email to my school to liaise with the VO, to fast track the process. However, I was told they can't do that, though I was given the option to resume in May if my visa is delayed and I can't resume in January.

Cheers!

I opened my domiciliary acct with $100 at Diamond Bank...you can do the same...

Osemigho:

When I asked a banker about form A, he told me it is limitedly available and only processed at headquarters. As such, ordinary persons are likely to be told "it is not available". Check your network for highly ranked bankers and approach them with prayers.

Other options that maybe domiciliary account and or aboki.

I really don't have concrete info because I have never been in your shoes. Thank you.
