pls stop discouraging people.....i am a testimony to the fact that the enbassy gives visa 4 language course.
i jxt got my stamped visa on 22/12/2016 and according 2 my aliens iffice, it can be extended to study visa once i present a proof of ability to study after my language course.......Though God waz involved
discouraging you say, I am here telling you something from experience you are here typing another thing, yes got it cause you were lucky my broda, a friend just got bounced with the same goethe admission from the embassy few months back so what will you say about that? a personal friend on this same thread paid a non refundable 1500 euro for a language course in Germany, on his interview day he was denied visa and referred to goethe for his language course and didn't get a refund from the school, so my friend what can you say about that also? the chance of getting visa for language course is a slim as you can imagine but not impossible but very slim.

Like I said, I found this out through research.

My take-away from it was that you get a student visa for a valid admission; & a student applicant visa for a conditional one.

[s]Someone on this thread had a problem similar to yours. His studienkollen indicated in his admission letter that he will write an exam in Germany before being admitted fully

The German consulate refused to accept that as an admission letter.[/s]

I didn't follow up so I don't know how he went about it.

I am throwing this open to more experienced guys here to shed more light on this situation.

BTW, don't apply to just one uni...spread your tentacles & hope for the best.

Don't conclude base on "Somones experience". I came to Germany on a language study visa and I converted it here to a student visa.
The Fact is, if you are coming to Germany on a Language Visa, you should have atleast B1, it is as simple as that, Most universities have preparatory classes for DSH but you require at least B1 to get into this class.

Thanks for clarifying. I guess its pretty obvious I didn't sound infallible... I clearly stated "from my research"

BTW, the context in which we are discussing this issue is going to Germany to start a1.

Bro please could you shed more light on this sponsor ish & how they give residence permit if you didn't open a blocked account.

I am asking because my sponsor is German too & I don't know the criteria the foreigners office will use to give temporary residence.

I know that those who opened a blocked account used a bank account statement.

Or did the consulate require you to open a blocked account as well?

Hello my brothers, my dad got married to a German citizen which was done in a court, including the documents the lady said she was my biological mother. since the month of march this year and up till now my dad has not been giving his visa. So my question is 'what if the lady send me an invitation for a long stay over there or like a family reunion to come join her since she wrote in the documents that am her biological son, what are my chances of getting the visa? And is this possible? Note my dad as not been giving his visa yet since March of this year when she came over for the court wedding, cause i intend going to Germany next year February to start a new life.
I'll be grateful if you can provide answers to my question, cuz I've searched the thread and a question like this as not been answered. Thanks in advance

Which school is that, please?

My advice, finish your Medical School. You can go for a postgraduate in a medical-ICT field later...something like Biomedical Engineering or so.

Well, I don't know if you can go without him being in Germany.

It's wise for him to be in Germany, then you could come
