It's better for the church. At 74, it doesn't appear he still has the strength and charisma to carry on with the leadership of the church. Funny enough, Pastor Kumuyi is a year older and he still appears strong enough to lead the church for a little while. I wish Kumuyi would also do the same soonest. As for those calling on Bishop Oyedepo to toe the path of Adeboye, be it known unto you that the former is much younger and recently turned 60. He's still in his ministerial days.

Happy retirement Daddy GO. Hope that retirement means relinquishing all the powers and privileges of that office to your successor, and vacating the GO's residence and office without your successor reporting back to you. Your retirement should afford you the opportunity to prepare to meet thy Lord. You've enjoyed the best of God on earth and you cannot afford to miss the best and lasting enjoyment with him in eternity.
