Surely stating that nothing exists is "killing the law of thermodynamics" as you say. Also why are you referring to mathematical 0, if you read the articles or stopped your 12th grader thinking you would see the simple point is nothing does not exist because in reality there is no space where something, anything, isn't present. It is good that young Nairaland readers all know that atheist Richard Dawkins is already displaying all the symptoms of insanity. Can an insane person describe nothing ? Just like Newton and Einstein and many other deluded atheists, they were clutching at straws.

A 22-year old study at a German University has many psychiatrists and psychologists throughout the world wondering if atheism/ deism, agnosticsm is a sign or warning of a more serious mental illness already present or in the process of developing. Atheists or people who are very strident about their atheism are heavily prone to mental illness:

The results of this study have unnerved even the most stoic scientists, physicians and researchers.

there is no such thing as nothing. in a quantum vacuum energy is bubbling spontaneously, you cannot isolate anywhere in this world or space where there is nothing; so the word nothing is abstract and imaginary. it's a conceptual idealisation

I totally understand . I mean we are talking of before the big bang . Apparently , there are two types of 'nothing' :Absolute nothingness and the quantum states or sea of energy

We understand the second type of nothing science is talking of . But the first type of nothing which is absolute nothingness which atheists say existed prior to the big bang has no properties or power - so how can such be observed ?

At least the Jainas - adherents of Jainism - believed that space (ākāśa) has two parts : the lokākāśa, that is the space occupied by the universe, and the alokākāśa, the portion beyond the universe. The alokākāśa can be seen as something in both the scientific and philosophical sense but this is totally unscientific because all matter space , time energy came into being in the Big Bang .

Quantum Mechanics do not indicate an eternal universe . There is no such thing as an eternal universe . There was a point - moments before the universe where absolute nothingness existed - "no stuff, not even a quantum wave function; there was no prior thing" according to physics professor and cosmologist Sean Carroll - and that was >15 billion years ago .

So yes , there is such thing as absolute nothingness , the kind atheists posit .
