I am in a similar situation as yours, though i had my ITA on jan 11, i hope to apply by jan 31 , and schedule a registry union in the second week of feb. Thereafter i inform them of change of status. That way i have saved my partner from the ielts exam stress and eca palaver, at least in the immediate.

Sharp guy! That's the way to go! Cc: esosa4real. Your best bet is to get married after submitting your application. That way Wifey won't go thru d ielts stress or hv to rush ECA.

I did it and it worked perfectly for both WES and IQAS.
I sent the docs to my faculty officer and he sent them in a separate brown envelope but in the same postal envelope to both orgs. Meaning my transcripts were in one envelope, my certs etc were in another envelope but they were sent to the org in the same postal envelope. So you can do yours same way. Remember ur uni has to stamp across the flap.

5. Then by the time Iqas + ielts is done, Add all these details to my application and submit eAPR alongside POF for 2, our medicals and our Police certificates. (BTW how will I even add the details?)

So this in summary means I will be marrying her few weeks POST-ITA and adding her details with all required documents before submitting eAPR. Pls any REDFLAGS[i][/i] to this? I don't wanna be disqualified oh..lol

I just wanted to know if your aware of the method, IQAS usually employs to contact the UNI as regards verification? courier or email?

Or do they just work with the documents sent by the uni from the go? yes they do

(BTW how will I even add the details?) you would fill the eAPR with your marital status as married and with your details as well as those of your spouse and then write a loe stating that you got married after creating your EE profile and that you accepted the ITA because your recalculated crs with your spouse included in your app did not fall below the draw cut off.
Kindly calculate what your possible crs would be with your spouse included....estimate worst case scenario ielts scores pls.

For those who are missing out due to low score in one section of IELTS (Specifically, writing or speaking), I will advise you go for the option of remarking.

My younger sis just got her writing score changed from 6.0 to 7.0 after about 10 weeks. Her revised score is now 8.0,7.5,7.5,7 in LRSW. She felt they will not increase her score by 1 whole band but I advised her to go for it. Thank God!! She got it changed to the score she needed.
I am so excited as I can now help my sis with the whole process.

great!! remember i have always been pro remarking especially when it was a british council nigeria conducted ielts. i truly believe they need a quality control assessment done. My husband's scores also moved a band upward.

Simply excited that you honoured us with your presence. I have read through a couple of your post and saw where you talked about good paying jobs in the oil sands. As most people here know, it takes a while to get going and for some, it's difficult to continue down the same career path. Thus the benefit of a good paying job while gaining valuable experience. If it's not too much to ask, could you kindly share with your "people" areas where good paying jobs are guaranteed/available with little or no barriers to entry and what certifications might be needed.
We have a lot of people that are skilled in the application process but very few discussions has been on settlement. I honestly believe that your invaluable insight will go a long way in aiding several people with plans/hope of migrating. Thank you

i saw someone get hers late last year in just 3 weeks total..it wasnt express entry thou it was husband sponsorship so it was paper application not online..but was still accra visa office.

@blackbuddy, you are mistaken. There's a difference between a "Pick Up Mail"(PUM) and "Passport Request"(PPR). @fusion23's application has been approved and closed!. He/she doesn't have to wait for 3 weeks before getting a PUM. You should expect it within 24-48 hours. If you don't get it, send a mail to Accra. In normal situations, your application should be treated(closed) within a month after PPR, which is exactly what happened in @fusion23's case. Yes there is a difference between PUM and Passport request. And yes, we have had persons who experienced protracted delays from when PUM/PPR requests were made to them and they responded till when they got the next communication. You can't 'tell my story for me', lets be clear on that You're also mistaken about the individual that had to wait for 6 months after PPR. I recall that he was meant to upload a form in his account which he didn't, hence the delay. After ordering GCMS notes, the error was spotted and his consultant made the necessary corrections. His "PUM" soon arrived after that. You must be referring to another individual as the person I'm referring to packaged his application himself
Edit: In my haste to dispel your worries, I forgot to congratulate you. Congratulations!. Your application pace is remarkable. If you don't get the PUM within 48 hours, you can allow up to 72* hours before mailing them.

I am saddened by this your results/efforts which has proven futile, and i can imagine the frustration. However, i will advice your stick with IELTS, as well as rewrite your IELTS(because your Celpip writing band did not change, perhaps your WRITING needs improvement actually, Also, there is room to improve other areas of your IELTS to a CLB 10).

If you can take the pain to writing an essay and send or snap to me, i will volunteer to review it for you and show you some area of deficiency which requires improvement. You can also visit my topic on this forum.

IELTS is easy, but technically demanding to excel.
