Good morning house
Make I rant small.. .i visited my Aunt on Sunday morning who want to dedicate her baby in church...*fast-forward to church*i sidon jejely under fan for church so dey call first timer to come forward nah so my aunt push me forward i sah no insist, I went nd they pray for me nah so den give me chair for front Seat mean y no fan nd low ventilation for dere...hmmmm I sah sidon dey look d pastor as he dey minister after some min I was feeling heat, chai huge heat+blurred vision but I was shy to stand up ND receive fresh air outside cusz nah front seat i sidon. *fast-forward to pastor office *i open my eye and i saw 2pastor nd a woman praying for me, my beautiful dress don wet, my hair nd body re wet as well with water nd anoiting oil. I was confused and ashamed, latr I was told i fainted when d pastor was preaching. .JESUS!! !!nah so I flash black ooh,omg the heat caused it(i hate heat) Member of d church keep coming to greet me in d office i was so ashamed of myself so tay nah my aunt nd husband con drag me for d office wen dey close. Cusz I can't imagine first time in their church nd i fainted. dis nah my first time I go faint ooh, Nah so dis pregnancy do me shege ND embarrass me on Sunday ooh.. .

kpele,it is my only cross in pregnancy,poor ventilation and crowded places.I always have fainting spells each time I enter the market,first it starts like someone poured a bucket of h20 on me,next I'm falling.since my doc told me after my complaints, I haven't experienced such since.even the MKT women warned me not to come until I born so dh dey go .

u can start with size 2....just buy 1 pack for now and then as ur LO gets bigger, u change sizes.

My sister bought the big pack of size 2 (100 pieces) for 4k last week. But na supermarket she buy from sha.

My Birth story,


Immediately it was December ,I was on weekly appointments, then did four stress tests where baby's heartbeat was monitored at no cost( wonderful doctor) They always gave me apple juice or cold water to make baby active . At my last appointment with Doctor, he said my Caesarian surgery will be on 18th Jan by 11.30am but to get to the hospital by 8am-9am,and he will be removing my cerclage before surgery asked not to eat or drink anything from before 12 am night before.

18th jan, My friend took me to the hospital by 9am ,went to Labour and delivery. Taken to a waiting room( Fine room) ,given gown to change,I was shaved. Bp checked,questions on allergies asked,hooked up on IV machine if you see the gadgets, the anaesthesiologist Came in to brief me on the spinal block and what will happen.

11.30am doctor checked on me. I was Wheeled into surgery room 11.45am,anaesthesiologist gave me the spinal block and cerclage was removed,then baby brought out.

That was when I heard it is a girl. I gave thanks to God, my friend was there with me singing praise song to me during the whole thing. Couldn't see as a blue sheet was used to block my view.

Doctor came round and said I did good. Baby weight was 4.15 pound, small but yesterday @ her appointment with her doctor she weighed 5 pounds. She has be so good,started sucking that day. My breast milk came in well by19th Jan. It can only be God as her sister never latched and I had to be expressing for 4 Months.

I noticed is only when I return from the market or after cooking that's when it happens. My antenatal is still far so can't tell my gynaecologist now. And am just 25weeks+ is it not too early for braxton hicks things.

I was about asking same question o. Am 24 weeks. Been feeling mild twisting in my lower abdomen. Happens when i sit,stand for a long time.

It's braxton hicks. Many people start feeling it in 2nd trimester, so it's not early. As time goes on, it will become more frequent but should not be more than 4 an hour and should not be painful, else u report to d hospital

lol I can't help but to laf. It happened to me 7years ago during my wedding. There was heat menh, in the process of i do, oh boy i black out. When I open my eyes they were fanning me. I told the camera man to stop vidoeing. This is my third pregnancy and I learnt that my systems hate heat and sun and I tried to avoid it.

U can start with size2. Bought d pack wit100 3k8 lastweek in a supermarket.

What is wrong with your baby's head? Soft spot or oka ori as its locally called is a normal thing in all newborn babies. The fontanelle is left open to aid in the birthing process and closes gradually! Forcing it to close prematurely may cause more harm than good.

If you notice your babies fontanelle is sunken please up his feed and offer water as he may be malnourished and or dehydrated.

The sunkeness doesn't hurt them it's the hunger and thirst that makes them cry, sleepless and loose weight.

Most of our parents were not as enlightened as we are now so many of them may still subscribe to the soft spot as a deformity and claim it's appearance as a result of the mom eating plantain and the likes which is absolute balderdash.


The only time you should be worried and seek medical help fast is if the fontanelle is bulging! Which may indicate an infection or pressure build up in the brain.
