Guys kindly read the vital information below

US to reduce the validity of visa issuance to Nigerian citizens from 2years to 1 years, if the Government of Nigeria doesn't increase the validity of NIgeria Visa issuance to Americans from 1 year to Two years.

US Visa feee to be increased from $160 to $180 and an additional $35 which makes it a total of $215 visa fee that Nigerians will start paying, if the Federal Government of Nigeria doesn't reduce the Nigeria Visa fee issued to American citizens from $180 to $160 to be at par with American Visa Fee, and also the Federal Government of Nigeria must stop charging the useless additional $35 processing fee.

The above order takes effect immediately.

Nothing wrong with this.

Oshey Jare.... That cable is a useless paper... we issue Americans 2 yrs visa and if you calculate the visa fees it's same except the processing fee of $35.

We give the Americans, 2 years visa...they give us 2 years visa...

A genuine conference would give you some notes on what is needed to obtain an entry visa.

There has been a lot of confusion surrounding the recent Executive Order on immigration signed by President Trump. The only change that affects our Nigerian visa applicants at this time is that Dropbox renewal is only available to applicants who previously held a visa in the same category that expired less than 12 months prior to the new application.

DRASTIC IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT IS NOW HERE. Section 5 of President TRUMP'S EXECUTIVE ACTION on Immigration titled "Enhancing Public Safety within the Borders of the United States" announced today is deceptively broad, and applies to all immigration law violators, not only felons.

WHAT DOES THIS EXECUTIVE ACTION STATES? It states as follows:
Sec. 5. Enforcement Priorities. In executing faithfully the immigration laws of the United States, the Secretary of Homeland Security (Secretary) shall prioritize for removal those aliens described by the Congress in sections 212(a)(2), (a)(3), and (a)(6)(C), 235, and 237(a)(2) and (4) of the INA (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(2), (a)(3), and (a)(6)(C), 1225, and 1227(a)(2) and (4)), as well as removable aliens who:
(a) Have been convicted of any criminal offense;
(b) Have been charged with any criminal offense, where such charge has not been resolved;
(c) Have committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense;
(d) Have engaged in fraud or willful misrepresentation in connection with any official matter or application before a governmental agency;
(e) Have abused any program related to receipt of public benefits;
(f) Are subject to a final order of removal, but who have not complied with their legal obligation to depart the United States; or
(g) In the judgment of an immigration officer, otherwise pose a risk to public safety or national security.

SECTION 5 does not start and stop with individuals convicted of serious offenses. It is all encompassing.

TO WHOM THIS EXECUTIVE ACTION APPLIES? This provision applies to anyone in the U.S. illegally. If you have overstayed, this provision applies to you. If you are charged but not convicted this provision applies to you. If your offense is a misdemeanor, this provision applies to you. If you came to the U.S. with false or fraudulent documents, this provision applies to you. If you admit to committing an offense for which you were never charged or convicted, this provision applies to you.

WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES TO YOU? This means if you are found, you will be detained. You have a right to proceedings before an Immigration Judge, and depending on your immigration infraction you may be eligible for bond. Catch and Release, under Trump, will be no more. There may well be new interpretations of existing immigration laws, which may make it harder to get relief from removal.

WHAT CAN YOU DO NOW? For those who overstay, including those with certain criminal convictions and immigration violations, you may still be able to legalize your status, obtain waivers, and barring significant changes in interpretation of existing immigration laws, relief from removal is available. Now is the time to understand how this new policy will impact your stay in the U.S., and to seek whatever relief available under current law, including adjustment of status.

Thanks for the clarification VO left to some Nigerians, they are ready to smuggle the country's name in to the banned list through the back door, so as to have something to talk about.
