OBJ was only trying to be politically correct here. I, as a Yoruba man, know he was insincere with that assertion. Even the northerners will never agree to an Igbo man being president. The highest they can get is the VP (like Ekueme). We know what they can do when they get access to power, going by the clannish way Ironsi went in 1966. |

Tifemide2017:If you go by the opinions of those airheads we share this cyberspace with, you'll hate the idea of supporting them. So hateful and always distorting facts just to paint their so-called enemies black. But outside this space, there are lot of sensible ones. |

My personal conviction is let us see the person from the East and judge by his person, not by his tribe. You won't believe there was a level of nepotism in the FG system during Jonathan. It was appalling. I will tell you that sickness called tribalism is worse than Ebola. And most Nigerians are infected. The only thing is that tribalism/nepotism doesn't always kill in a few days like Ebola. stinggy: |

In as much as I support every tribe and region to produce the president at one time or the other for the sake of equity and justice, but the former Governor really made some valid points. |

Tifemide2017:must u tell us that you are a Yoruba man before making your statement, you should be worried that majority of Igbos are faring far better than majority of your people and your slave masters, even without being the president. And of course, igbos didnt take Obasanjos statement serious because treachery and cunning is a thread mark of your people, even your Hausa Fulani masters can attest to this. Exactly why they played a fast one on Awolowo and Abiola in this yoruba game of treachery! Tell your people to quit perpetual servitude,it wont take you no where, reason why most of your youths are either motor park touts,Alaye boys(street urchins),Omoniles and political tugs while there mates elsewhere are hitting it big. No pun intended, one Nigeria as usual! |

[s] AustineE1:[/s] Oga, get some sense. This politics of hatred will take you nowhere. Real Igbos are reaching out to other Nigerians, not a 10mb pauper like you. |

Tifemide2017:I think you're the one deceiving yourself here...there's nothing like real or fake Igbo. We've lost interest in this your Nigerian scam....so just know that any Igbo reaching out to you is a fraud |

stinggy:OBJ should stop putting mouth in their matter. Nd'Igbo want Biafra. Pure and simple. They do not want the Presidency of Nigeria. how many times do you want them to repeat it? ![]() |
| Re: 2019: Obasanjo’s Call For Igbo Presidency, Insincere, Divisive – Obong Attah by AustineE1: 7:53am On Feb 06, 2017 |
Tifemide2017:Thats exactly my problem with you lots, you make statements laced with wickedness and hatred of the greatest order, you get a response with 'equal and opposite' reaction, you start complaining that it is 'politics of hatred'. Do you know the reason why Nigeria may never get it right? You people are so screwed to the point that you think everything should be about who becomes president, the rest of the free world are investing in great ideas, businesses, science, technolgy,ICT etc while you people are polluting the air space shouting 'the president is from my ethnic group'. Smell the coffee, quit being shallow minded! At a time when most Igbo youths are peacefully pursuing the common goal of Biafra and you are still having sleepless night on who becomes the president. Stop calling out Igbos, they have long lost faith in Nigeria, tell your fellow 'loving' Nigerians to allow them go. Keep your presidency! Every man on his own,God for us all! |

AustineE1:Guy, why are you getting worked up? Can't you see the hate oozing from your words? Why are you now upset that he chose to dish it back to you in the same manner? His response was even quite mild compared to yours'. If it had been my own tribe that you had described in such a manner, the response you would have received would have been twice as harsh as the one you made. My advice to you is to take it easy. Respect is not given, it is earned. If you want someone to be polite to you, then try being polite to them, first! ![]() AustineE1: |

cheruv:I am not talking about 10mb paupers like you. I mean the likes of Ifeanyi and Andy Ubah, Orji Uzor Kalu. Ken Nnamani, Rochas Okorocha, Charles Soludo, Chris Ngige who are at least pursuing the Ibo 2023 presidency which is a good thing. Not political paupers like you |
| Re: 2019: Obasanjo’s Call For Igbo Presidency, Insincere, Divisive – Obong Attah by AustineE1: 8:35am On Feb 06, 2017 |
laudate:Its either you are trying to be smart by half or you didnt read his first write-up,when he stereotyped Igbos as being 'clannish and incapable of being trusted with power'. Except hatred has other meaning which i dont know! Calling out an ethnic group in a derogatory manner is not hatred. |

AustineE1:...You have time to school these clowns really....Instead of strategising on their so-called protest today in National Stadium Surulere(which they are too cowardly to carry through by the way )..they are calling Igbos.....They will keep calling Igbos till Nigeria collapses on their shallow heads,by then Igbos would have long left them in the lurch. |
