There are many ways i can view this and all still stand for the reasons i chose it as my moniker.I have been a quest here for long before registering recently for a reason. I'm done now with that reason but just want to hang around a bit more before deactivating. It's been a victorious experience for me.

Now while a guest, i saw majority of girls bearing very seductive or suggestive names like Free this, free that, lovely that, pretty...., Angelic...., sexy this, sexy that etc, probably to woo the opposite sex.
For instance, as a man, what will be your first impression of a girl whose moniker spells out freebeverage or sexymonica?
They look somewhat cheap to me. Women are valuable and shouldn't come that cheap. Opinions may differ but that is how i view it.

Thornapple signifies something that may be desired but doesn't come so cheaply. Throw yourself at it and you get hurt.
It signifies something that has to be approached with caution and decorum among others.

Atleast, I've seen people answer their names here. They value their real names. They aren't here to impress. They aren't here to paint a picture of who they not, so they stick to their names or in their monicker, you will find the traces of their names in there...

Yes there are biblical verses in the new testament that encourages one man to one wife and that is why it is a rampant practise across the churches today.
I try to reply to all quotes but going to my bible to get quotations for you means putting more than reasonable efforts in replying just a mention when i know it won't change you. lol.

I don't need to ask anybody in the church, i know what the bible says. They is no passage in the bible that says you shouldn't practice polygamy. The only passage that has something close to that is 1 timothy 3:2 and 1 timothy 3:12, and it was addressed to certain group in christaindom.

Well said, in time past i've read couple of other passages that buttresses those verses. This facts raised in those passages suggests every man should do the same for their own spiritual welfare. If you feel cos you aren't a bishop or deacon so want to go down the polygamous route, it's your call bro.
