A B1/B2 visa with these circumstances? Hardly any chance, hardly. Better filed for if I may opine! Pretty much appreciate your straight forwardness....

May things fall in place for you to the extent your qualification for one would be vivid, and you wouldn't even have any reason to stay back as a result of your "too much good ties", amen!

Please, I have this question to ask...
I've known this man who's from America (Mississippi State) and his family for 2 years----through the internet and now they want me to come over to the USA.. I just graduated from Sec school..
He was talking about adoption, but I never considered that because my parents are still alive and I'm past 18... I was sent N100,000 for a Visa Application, but promised to send me a ticket money once I'm done and expect I come to America before June..
So please, don't be offended---- what are the necessary steps I need to take and what type of Visa do you advise me to apply? Can I visit for this first time?
I haven't been to the Embassy before nor applied for a visa, I only have an International Passport which I had last year.. So I beg you in the name of God advice me on what and how to go about this.. Thank you!

Most important advice is be very careful, he being an American does not mean his intentions are good. I wonder ho you will meet a secondary school leaver over the internet and suggest adoption...it is sketchy to me. There are perverts everywhere, discuss with your parents and possibly have them discuss with him also.

[/quote]. My application was in march 2015, and our travel date was July. Family visit/ $ vacation. My sibling is over there . She got in through marriage which was done here and her hubby invited her . She is a citizen. Her family visited us in 2o15 since we couldn't make it. After the denial , travelled with my family to uk .No agent involved. Wiffy with ĢTB with over 7yrs experience and myself works in infotec world. Salary of us both is a little bit below 900k on a monthly basis.

Though I can't remember the order of our interview but it's goes thus;

We: morning
Vo: morning
Vo We are u going .
We Texas for family visit & vacation.
Vo: what do u do
Me . Work with coy abc as the head of it , mentioned my job function.
Vo to wiffy.; what do u do .
Wiffy,: banker she also said the name of the bank and her role .
Vo: Have you ever travelled out as a family;
We : yes , mentioned all our trips.
Vo: good travel history..
V.o to wiffy are you pregnant.( last baby was in 2016)
Wiffy ; nope and truly she wasn't.
V.O : SORRY AND THAT WAS ALL.

Just scared of dashing us embassy another money. That is why I want them to apply without me , may be the VO will understand that they have ties here in Nigeria. Don't know how to prove my ties here.

Please can I change my hotel which was filled in the DS 160 form. I just found a far cheaper one, which is also close to my conference center. So I can do a little shopping with the balance. Hope this wont be an issue at the POE i.e if hotel reservation is an issue at all.
Good morning.
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by KaptainAfrika: 8:08am On Feb 11, 2017
1. Anywhere in Texas is always associated with childbirth

2. The VO probably assumed that you guys are going for childbirth and not vacation.

3. Reapply after 2-3 months later, with your wife. This will show that she's truly not pregnant and you truly intend to go for a vacation and family visit. Don't bother with how they will know if your wife is pregnant or not, if they have a feeling that she is, they will go with that, the idea is to show them that you guys are actually sincere.

4. You have to clearly state why you are going to the US, these short answers are only for those who have gotten a US Visa before. E.g. We will be going to see my sister, in texas, last year she paid us a visit from the US; we will also use that opportunity to have our vacation and see interesting sites such as xyz and other places.

5. Be honest in filling your forms. Especially if you have a relative in the US.

6. Use the "why were you refused a visa before" to explain why you think you were refused - the vo believed my wife was pregnant and we were going to etc...

All the best.

.

Well said everyone . have got 2kids . Applied with my wife & first child .

My sister is in Texas but if I change my destination to Florida, I guess it will raise brow. How do i say am going to florida without visiting my sibling. My other siblings have gone 2 visit and come back. I will stick to my Texas cos that is the only place I want to visit. Am sure they will realise that my wiffy wasn't pregnant during our last interview with my second child date of birth.

Thank you.

Happy weekend to you all,
pls i have these few Q.

Passport Book Number: should i put anything there?
as a business man, should i fill anything on "Monthly Income in Local Currency (if employed)" ?
Briefly describe your duties: Should i state there that i'm a business man and list what i do OR just state my role as the business owner
do i need to print along with me an introduction letter and annual vacation letter from my office signed by my secretary?
Do i need tax clearance?
i'm going on vacation, should i fill "Have you attended any educational institutions at a secondary level or above" and how do i fill it up to date as a final year student?

Need help pls.

Thanks

Normally if you read up the thread you will find answers to your question.. 1) No need to put anything for passport book number 2) You must fill your combined monthly income in local currency even if you're a business owner. 3) Yes tell them your role as owner and business man and explain your role... letter of introduction is not necessary but you may bring it along if you want. 4) Start with your University/poly degree... oh are you still in school?

Very good advice, don't trust those people. about adoption is a lie, you are an adult, US government doesn't allow it, as far as I know

Brave it, reapply as a family unit! Just only be sure there hasn't been a misrepresentation by either you or your wife in the past, as long as there are no "mistaken" skeleton (if there were, be ALMOST sure they have uncovered it and are just laughing at you) in the past just take your time out to fill your form properly and give it a shot.

Why will I advise you so? Well, I was going to check out your family in the US, noticed they entered legitimately, your other siblings haven't misused their visas either, and above all your interview stopped abruptly when an answer was proffered in the negative as to if wifey was pregnant - which oftentimes signifies a misrepresentation noticed by the VO - but the thing is that as at today, whether she was pregnant or not can easily be diabused from the minds of anybody or note from the past. Go ahead bruv, give it a shot if you are double sure of no misrepresentation from the past!

N.B// Is your sister or hubby related to the medical field in the US?
