Chief, I took out my time to watch the video. Let's reason logically. The Bible was written by men, what you see as variations and errors are how the writers of each Bible book saw and reported the incidence. You will agree that 2 journalist for example will report same incident differently, but that obviously don't mean that the incident never happened. Also the Bible books were not written immediately when they happened. You can't expect them to be with their writing materials when each event unfolded making the possibility of a delayed documentation inevitable. One common thing about delayed documentation or report is that the witness begins to lose sight or count of the event or numbers which of course will account for some variations.

The variations as seen is a big evidence that the events actually occurred, because if it was a cooked up story like you are alleging, the authors would have perfected their script.

If these variations are reasons for you being a non believer, you should think again.. Yes we are intellectual beings but come on, don't be a victim of your own wisdom.

Like I will always say, I rather believe in God and find out when am dead that there's none that to be alive and claim atheist only to be hit with the truth in a land of no return.

Make God guide you to the truth. I am not claiming to know the truth, but with all i have seen all my life, i dont need proof to believe there's a God somewhere, who actually listens. I only know my story and convictions.

In other words, you just choose to assume that all the stories in the Bible are true. That doesn't seem to be terribly smart. I can just choose to assume that Harry Potter actually exists, but I would only be deceiving myself. You need to investigate the Bible before believing in it.

My stance is that the character God portrayed by religions is just a connotation created by Man to control the masses and give people hope of a sense of belonging. Humans are not intellectually equal, the people who crafted the Bible and all other religious books in the days of old showed intellectual prowess of extrapolation, it doesn't mean their written account is absolute; illiterate was the order of the day then and religion validation was all about popularity contest through wars and partisanship. Christianity isn't the oldest religion, it was created by some smart people then and get gained prominence with time, same way anyone in this era of ours can create a religion which could become the most widely accepted religion in several decades to come. As they say, religion is the opium of the masses, the absolute and just nature of any religion hasn't been proven till date, until then it is all folklore.

When I listen religious apologists, I often wonder why they think they'll make heaven (that is if heaven actually exists) or why they think their religion is the right one. Using Christianity as a case study: Based on the little I know about the Bible, the consequential deterministic factors to make heaven is rather almost impossible to accomplish; religious people often think they can segregate some doctrines in the Bible and live by them, yet neglect difficult tasks associated with the Bible. They think they can bribe God with mere belief, acknowledgment of his existence, going to church, paying titles, paying offers, ceaseless prayers, etc, all in a bid to escape the religiously proclaimed eternal damnation. If God exists as portrayed by the Bible, 99% human beings won't make heaven; but guess what? heaven or hell is an illusion.

When I see someone hurl insults at a God he himself says does not exist: I deduce two things:
1. That God exists and
2. That Person is likely to be influenced by the devil for he is the only known enemy of God.
So if an atheist believes God doesnt exist, the atheist should rest and act like He doesnt exist! Dont throw jibes at something that doesnt exist...You waste much energy, reasoning on a non-existent God, that is good proof, there is God! For you to believe and act against your beliefs, you are not consistent and therefore not working alone, your partner must be devil, the only known enemy!

With how intelligent you are, you can't recognize figuration expressions when you see them. No one knows the Bible 100%, I mean the literal meanings, but certain things can be deduced from it, if you study it with open mind. It's only indoctrinated people like you, the religious apologists I mentioned, who won't recognize the flaws from a supposed flawless book.
