Meanwhile someone was asking if u can work to pay tuition here. Well i will say it's almost impossible and it also depends on hw much ur fees. In uottawa where d fees is abou 8500 per term, doing minimum wage job or slightly more than minimum wage jobs at 20 hrs per wk will barely cover your cost of living per month. That is if you even get get up to 20 hrs. This is the reality. What alot of guyz do here is to go on break during d summer and work full time for about 4 months, dats when u can raise something tangible.

@ vanod, using CAC docs must be well tailored to your situation and the company SOA is well run and funded. For example, i only used my funded corporate SOA, reference letter stating I'm the SOLE signatory & CAC docs as home tie in addition to having a viable " architectural business" in country of residence. However, I NEVER declared my business resources to fund my study instead i used my mum and sis as co-sponsors.
What works for applicant A might be detrimental to applicant B. So be strategic about it and think through it. Put yourself into the VO position and be truthful to yourself. God will favour you.

@twoc, just call any of the CIC approved clinics to book an appointment for e-medical and go with your int passport, passport photograph and preferably your ATM card. In addition, i will advise you to include Police character Certificate and submit your int passport.
(Not compulsory but necessary in other to save time)

I am the SOLE signatory to the Acc, I have my personal account with reasonable inflow and USD Acc too.

My main issue presently is age, my passport carries 1983 as my Bd but am not upto that,
Pls can you advice me what to do should I go and swear an affidavit that my age is 1987.

Okay. You could stand a good chance if you present your case very well and convincingly. Age has always got little effect on a right choice of academic pursuit. Your passport age is assumed your real age because it is a government issued document and therefore has a good evidence of authenticity.
I think the do DOB and information change on the passport in nigerian immigration office. You could find out the process and make appropraite corrections.

The embassy will use your age as written on your passport as your real age. So if it's not, do the change first on your passport before you submit your application.

Pls i feel it is a copy of your CIC letter you should send and not a mail... But really it may have reached the point where suspected misrepresentations are not allowed the chance to defend themselves and hereby rendered inadmissible on the spot...
this may however be a brilliant choice to curb the prevalence!!!... Isn't getting out of control already

Oh oh ohhhh.... I have seen the copies... Bobo, its a ban sorry! The bad thing about this is that..... it won't only affect you and the 'now'..... but family members on your 'family form'.... Other countries like USA.... and after the 5 years it may be difficult to establish a trust and thereby labelled a threat to host country!!!.... It's that bad!!!.

I like d concept of ur application, I always tell people not to use a company's account as the source of money to pay ur fees via ur sponsor. In ur own case u used ur mum & sister whose acc is not a company's acc. Personal account statement is best sell out to this VO. I remember vividly one moniker that was refused on dis thread, that used his sponsor SOA, even though d Acc looks good but dis VO gats to be considering the dependants on that account as per salaries of employees and lots. I was shocked when d GCMS came out and all that was pointed out. Abeg wetin concern dem with all dat ? U rightly said it. It's somewhat better go give CAC doc of a sponsor den let d sponsor give his/her own personal acc and not that of d company that is rested on so many things.

Go to your bank with the following;

International passport data page

Your admission letter,

Invoice from the school,

Letter of authorisation for the bank to carry such transaction on your behalf.

I think that's pretty much everything you need.
