Nelson came in and knelt down again, his dad dragged him up and hugged him, they hugged, mum hugged me,
"Thank you father for answering my prayers, i cant express my gratitude, "mum said joyfully, she hugged her husband,
" ooooh, i'm almost late for my exams,when i return we gonna celebrate this, Chy said dancing, we left for her room.
She bathed, ate and left for school, i was so happy with how the family was United, i sang as i washed our dirty clothes,Mum is doing really good health wise, thanks to God.
Chy returned home late in the evening,her brother have nt gone out since he returned, he has been indoor, she bought snacks for everyone, she sang into the room.
" My bestie, what's up? Hope you didn't miss me," she winked at me,
"miss you, who are you that i will miss you, "i told her jokingly, she ran to me and siezed my neck,
" Oya tell me the truth or i'll kill you, "
" Oook, i will say nothing but the truth, i missed you so much, sooo soo much, i told her truthfully,she then released me,
"you're supposed to be a woman wrestler ooo, you nearly choked me to death", i told her
"good you missed me", she told me
"how did you manage to write your exams, i asked her.
"Dont you trust me again?, i wrote very well, guess what? You're result is out, i bought the scratch card for you, after eating i'll check it for you "she told me
" thank you s much dear, i cant wait to join you in your school, "i was so eager to check my result,.... she went to greet her parents, we all went downstairs to celebrate, it was fun.
After the celebration we all prayed together and retired to our rooms. Chy checked my result and it was wonderful, i passed,
" Congrats dear,the first batch admission list will be out next week,your
name must come out, she assured me, "Amen dear, i replied her.
We slept off peacefully.

CHAPTER 7
"The lecturer is here ooo", one of the students outside shouted, trust jambites, we all rushed into the class struggling for seats.
I have gained admission into UNILAG, Chy helped me out in running around for my registrations, within one i was done, and classes have started, i called my mother to inform her of the good news, i'm now an undergraduate. Thank God mummy has recovered fully, she has gone back to her norml life, but daddy wants her to be a housewife for the meantime.....
The day's lectures ended early, my menstruation started in the morning, i was having serious cramps, i decided to leave early and rest, Chy is still running around with her assignments, i boarded a taxi and went home.when i got home, everywhere was quiet, i saw the maids in their quarters, i didnt see mummy 's car in the garage, i thought Nelson went out with him. I entered the living room from the back door, because i don't want to disturb mummy,
"where's Chy?"i stopped walking , i was startled, i turned and saw Nelson coming out of the kitchen,
"Good day, she has somethings to do in school, she'll return later in the day," a lady walked into the parlour
"baby what's keeping you? "she asked Nelson.,....
" you have a visitor,i need to freshen up and rest,where's mum,? I managed to ask him,
"She went to the salon, "
" oook, "i meant to climb the stairs when the same voice spoke again,
" Hey, wait "i turned and saw the girl that pushed me into the pool, what's that her name again......... I was still thinking of her name when she spoke again,
" Is this not the same girl from village? , the one that claimed i pushed her into the pool, and what are you doing here? "she asked me, i greeted her," gud day, "
" Ooooh pls eat your greetings, i asked a question, what are you doing here? Oooh, so you brought your village juju here to charm my man abi, you cant do that ooo, i'm Lizzy Okaro, no one messes with me in this Lagos"she fired, i looked at her and walked away,
"i dont blame you, imagine a village girl walking out on me, i blame Nelson for not keeping his manhood one place, he's been fucking you that's why you have the guts to walk out on me, Nelson cut her short"Lizzy, will you stop being naughty, why are you angry over nothing, stop insulting that girl, he tried to be a gentleman, i was already angry with that girl, i thought of rushing towards her and giving her the beating of he life, i decided to ignore her. I didnt talk, i just entered the room and shut the door,
"Nelson you have no shame at all, i have caught you today, no wonder you've been cold towards me since i came, i should have known, first you returned home without calling me, thank God your friend David told me, and now this, i think i need to go i need to think of what to do with you. "with that she carried her bag and left, Nelson didnt bother calling her back, he entered his room.
I was in the room when i hears the gate open, i saw him driving off in his car, thank God i'm now alone, i showered, ate and slept off.

The reason Amanda loves Amaka as her own because she want her to get married to her son Nelson. I guess am right? Nice story and well done for the good job.

I dont know what relationship is all about, but i've heard of heartbreak, i don't know what it means to be in love, i must really be careful with this Dave of a guy, and being Nelson's friend is another problem, hope he doesnt behave like him, though he seems to have changed but i'm still watching him, so is dad, he's scared of taking him to the company because of his previous behavior, but he's making plans for his return to the company.

I just started following this thread. I am enjoying your story. I see much improvements as the chapter progresses..I hope it continuous that way.

The next day's lecture ended around 1pm,i called Chy to know if she's done, she came few minutes later and we went home.
We got home and met Nelson with his friend waiting for us,

"i know she's your date, we're going to end up in the same restaurant, then you can talk to her, you know how annoying Chioma can be sometimes, "he tried to explain to Dave," Ook, you can drive her, but always remember she's my girl oo,"with that he entered his car, Nelson opened his car and i entered, then he zoomed off.
****Our drive was quiet, he was playing nice songs and he sang along with them, i noticed how handsome he is, i've known him to be handsome but he's looking so cute, i removed my thoughts from him, moreover he's in a serious relationship, suddenly, he turned down the volume of the song, "i'm sorry for what my girlfriend said to you yesterday, she can be stubborn at times"

I really enjoyed myself, so did Chy, we had fun, Nelson was quiet as usual, we chatted and played, Nelson wasn't finding it funny, i noticed his phone has been ringing and he doesnt want to pick it"guy, pick your phone na, maybe it's your babe, "Dave told him,
" it's not an important call, ignore it"he replied, then he switched off the phone.Nelson told us it's time to go home, Chy didnt find it funny at all, she just complied, Nelson said there's no need Dave driving you girls home, since his house is close by, Dave hugged me and promised to call me later at night.
Nelson drove us home, i was glad we were home, at least let me be free from Dave's questions, i decided to talk to mummy about Dave, i need her motherly advice.
