I tell you, you never knew women, it is only them can bring Biafra in our time, as soon as they join Biafras actualization no force can stop them.

Let Women alone have their own wing of IPOB without men joining them. you will see how far they will go in a year. united nation will listen to then very speedily

Are you really thinking straight, there is nothing like Biafra in the federal republic of Nigeria.Anyone that desire a country should leave to find one just as the Israelites searched and found their country, but here in Nigeria,Biafra died with ojukwu painfully.
When the terrorist called Nnamdi is hanged,Biafra will be cremated, period.
Your moniker should not influence your reasoning.

even though I hate this govt to bone marrow, I think you are biased. you said ss n se are tired because they did not benefit from the current govt. I love gej and voted him but saddened my heart that he lost even though my tribe did not benefit from his administration. my question to you now is why did yorubas not tired because they didn't enjoy from Jonathan administration despite that all the states in west voted for him before he lost in the last election. why yorubas not crying of victimization and marginalization. cos I vividly remembered that ss n se got the guicy position during his administration and yorubas never complained.
I think you quoted the wrong person sir, this is not a competition of who benefited the best, its more of an understanding of what the system is, its a failure because we as individuals don't think, act and relate to issues the same way, take the fulanis for example, how far must this system evolve until they stop their nomadic ways which includes killing at the slightest provocation, this is about people with different mind coexisting without any mutual benefits, what have you gained from this system sir, even the NYSC scheme that is suppose to insert unity in the heart of Nigerians is a failure, try and be honest to urself and see the truth shine like sunrise

Forget about your profile, an Igbo person will not say what you put up there, except if you fall into the number of "my Mama say I be Igbo". I am from Edo state, born and bred in Kaduna, visited up to 30 states, I can say that I am more Igbo than you. The Fulanis that have being killing other Nigerians, they are from Jupitar right? You must have heard of The Matatsine killings in Kano, Kafancha riot in Kaduna, Zango Kataf riots in Kaduna, Ife-Modakeke crises in Osun, Jos riots in Plateau, Kano Killings in Kano, Sharia riot in Kaduna, Miss World riot in Kaduna, Boko Haram insurgency in several states, Fulani herdsmen killings in Plateau, Benue, Kaduna, Abia, Enugu, Delta states and others, how many have the Igbos be going about to kill others or themselves. I only refrain from calling you names because, that would make me look crying more than the bereaved. I support any section of the country that wants out because Nigeria is a failed system. After the recent skirmish between the Hausas and their Yoruba friend in Ife, I heard that a traditional ruler was arrested did that ever happened in the North? Well, you and your afonjas friends can be slaves to the Gambaris, but where I am from, we don't accept servitude to anybody, go and read about the first white men that came to the land of my root.

Nice tell him.
Are you Igbo?

It is not in deir power 2 call a referendum, but dat of d govt. Nigeria will never be better or great unless we all decide 2 be part of dis con3
D 1st step is 2 hold a referendum across all geo political zones askin if dey Wana be part of nigeria project. If we all agree den we forge 4wrd 2 greatness, if not we quietly go our separate ways. Dats d only solutn, cos Ders no more patriotism in dis country. Mind u once dis ipob tin escalates 2 a conflict dey will most likely get intl backin just like Palestine, Syrian rebel & co. Self-determinatn is reignin now globally.

You said it all. Even Nigeria at a point sent British away and stay on her own. If one third of the resources in South is in the North, they would have gone teh teh.

Not every person here is intelligent. Some people here don't truely know what referendum means.

Actually, due to international laws, every tribe has the right to self-determination and can decide whether to remain in a country or want out. If you don't believe me, check Crimea and South Sudan.

My own main suspicion about this is that why didn't Igbo(s) decide to secede when they still had a sympathetic government in power
yea but how many have succeeded doing that. the countries you mentioned it took wars and brutality to succeed and in their case the hand of the government was forced to do so,I remember Catalonia who are still fighting to secede after referendum
as for your question about sympathetic government you answered the question yourself and its simply because they felt the government of the day is persecuting them, who are we to tell them how to feel about the present government. its their right to either welcome or be suspicious of the present government and the latter seems to be the case

Lol, my fear is that the country would remain just as it is...instead of drumming for war (unfortunately the misinformed youth who dont even know their right from left boldly support blindly), why not peacefully request for a referrendum which is the legal means of achieving independence world all over?
Whats more amusing is watching kanu address of world igbo day submit in the US and requesting for guns, realyhow would they go about that?

But there's SHARIA in your so called federal Republic of Nigeria, where a citizen of your country will be judged by SHARIA constitution while your country's constitution will be thrown to the bin. Go through the constitution of your Nigeria you won't see church or Christianity but mosque and Islam. A white man gave you a country and name it after a river, clap for yourself. I dont know whether to laud or criticize this boldness in displaying the biafran flag in Abuja.

I don't know how we can recover from all this and go back to "One Nigeria". One Nigeria seems to be a dream lost in the pipeline...
One Nigeria is a pipe dream bro. Nigeria had the chance to turn our adversity into strenght but due to the greed and wickedness of a particular tribe that is so lazy and laid-back to compete with others, they rather brought in a celebration of mediocrity known as federal character/quota system and everything collapsed under it. Finally, they felt that the only way they can continue to enjoy their cheating of others is by holding the Igbos down but unfortunately for them, the Igbos are a proud, educated, well travelled, industrous and big ethnic group. The Igbos are now fighting back like wounded lions, attacking everybody & anybody in frustration. They would rather see Nigeria destroyed than live like 2nd class citizens in it!!

I really don't get it. What makes you think assigning "juicy ministerial position" to someone translate to that appointee's region benefitting from the administration? Pls tell me what benefit did SE or Delta state get from Dr Okonjo's appointment as finance minister. What is the sw gaining now from having ministers of finance & work coming from their region? Look, real benefit is developmental projects sited in a region as well as policies that increase economic activities in a region. In this regard, the sw has gained more than any region under all the administrations since democracy returned to Nigeria. Pls tell me, what developmental project took place in the whole of se during gej's time except perhaps the upgrading Enugu airport to international airport. To me if u like appoint all the minister from Ekiki but relocate oil companies to ss, builds a viable and functional seaport in the ss preferable in Akwa Ibom State, evenly distribute oil blocks to Nigerians with the actually "owners" - ss people - having a slight edge, let federal government presence be felt in all state and regions in the form relocating certain government offices to the states and regions. We must not go to Abuja or Lagos for literarily everything that has to do with the fg. If these and more are done, there will be less feeling of being cheated
