Wearing of trousers by Nigerian ladies has generated a lot of controversies. People have continued to argue if the practice is sinful or not. Ladies on trouser? While some churches welcome and promote it, others preach against it. Those who are against it base their stand on Deuteronomy 22: 5, which says: “The woman shall not wear that which pertains to a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.” Churches, which do not condemn wearing of trousers by women, believe that grace has put an end to such law. Some people, especially young females, decide the church they will attend based on whether wearing of trousers is allowed or not. 1 Like 1 Share

Trouser is in no way a male cloth, we have male trouser and then female trouser.  Any man saying trouser is for male should put on jeggings let's see. Women putting up men's clothing had made the price of such clothing to be expensive. Many even dress the way men dress including wearing tie but biabia remain for dem to wear. Is it right for women to wear man's clothing is a debate that has being going among Christian folk as some see it not bad while others condemn it. Those condemning it don't frown when men tie wrapper to weddings and other parties forgetting that it's women's clothing but will be quick to condemn men wearing skirt. They attribute them to gayism but they forget that some countries allow their men to wear skirt. Should women wear trouser? The answer is based on their conviction and relationship with the holy spirit that's why it's advisable for all to seek the holy spirit for clarity not what men think. What is a sin? Anything the pastor does not like. A lot of hot air about whether women can wear trousers. If you are not female, wetin concern you? So where is this dichotomy coming from?
