The thing is this the pastor is showing depiration ..there is no how he can deny his influence is not used to keep her in prison...

Deformation is not a criminal act ..its a civil act and can't be sent to prison ..u can only pay damages ...so what's the magistrate doing ..keeping her in prison for 2 weeks

These thing is not over ..the case has not even started ..she might have her facts ...I won't want any pastor do demand for secret hearing tomorrow...

My conclusion is the pastor is just trying to be smart ..bully her into agreeing to out of court settlement... But seriously he is in for a big surprise.....

I know the pastor very well ..I am 98% sure he is fake ...

weh done Sir

Come let us reason together, though your sins be as dark as scarlet, i'll make you to be as white as snow. Kemi has to come 1st. You don't forgive someone who has not acknowledged her wrong! Thats pride, she has a reprobate mind. As long as she can't see anything wrong in what she's doing then there's no place for forgiveness. You people should not misinterprete the Bible just for attention. Even the prodigal son went to the father before he was forgiven.
I didn't want to comment on this thread until I saw your post and others who claim that you can only forgive someone who acknowledges to offending you and seeking forgiveness. I want you to know that when Christ said on the cross that "Father forgive them for they know not what they do", the people at the cross were not begging him to forgive them for crucifying him. They were even cursing him the more.

What am saying in essence is that, you don't wait till the person that offended you comes begging before you forgive. You forgive the person immediately the offence is committed against you and go ahead to be nice to the person. That single act can make the person have a change of heart.

If God were to use your standard of punishment without forgiveness to judge you, I doubt you'll still be alive today.

We all know it is difficult to overlook certain offences, but a pastor should know better. Christ set the ultimate example for us Christians to follow. Failure to do that prevents us from being Christians.

So, Kemi has been found guilty abi?

When the news first came out then, people started talking as if Kemi was going to be dealt with spiritually. But their god pastor has only run to the police to illegally hold a citizen of Nigeria.

if you don't know what to say just shut up and if u try quote me again, I will slap life out of you. listen, Jesus flogged people when it's necessary, why so what of his disciple?

People just sit at home and type self-righteous nonsense. Kemi is not remorseful neither did she ask for forgiveness.

How long has she been defaming people? She writes all manner of libelous things just for cheap popularity and I can bet the OP has never for once condemned her own brand of 'journalism'. Now God's judgement has begun and He is using Ibiyemi to administer justice but hypocritical people like the OP won't borrow themselves brain.

Once the most powerful Christian of earth...if we can excuse such title was once slandered... Pope Paul VI was accused of engaging in a homosexual act when he was archbishop of Venice, he never sue the paper nor the rumour peddler. When the rumour became weighty, he only went against papal protocol to deny ever doing such evil. That was all...he never uttered any word again. Christianity is not easy...it is dying to self, taking up d cross and following Christ. A lot of lies have been peddled against The Francis...but he accepted such with Christian smile...though he would have loved to sue, but he ought to be like his divine master Christ whom he proclaims.

I'm sure festerwell is more into blogging than Christianity. The pastor has not done any wrong going by seeking redress in the law court.Jesus taught his disciples that if anyone had issue with a person, you should try and settle it before the person takes you to court.Aunty Kemi was warned but she chose the path that landed her in court/prison.
Disobedience is like witchcraft as far as God is concerned.Let us learn from her errors.

Unfortunately you're the biggest illiterate on this forum. The law of the land gives you no right to sue somebody for libel and then pay the police to transport them from one state to another. That's how dictators operate. How can you lock someone up for defamation? Is this Iraq or Syria? Even the ruthless Dino melaye sued Sahara reporters for damages, he didn't call for Sowore's arrest because its not in our laws to arrest anyone for defamation. Kemi's crime is an Instagram post!!!
And what makes you think he paid anybody?

Illiteracy is really a disease.....
According to the law of the land.....If you have a problem with someone, you seek redress in court.
To me, the pastor only did what was right according to the law.....
If he wanted to act as an unbeliever, he could just arrange for her to be beaten or kidnapped.......
Suing somebody is not a Sin......
He did not kill her or beat her up or insult her on social media like she did Him.......

Seeking redress in court is different from arrest.
The question is why was kemi olunloyo arrested?
She may be sued by Mr pastor for 10billion naira, but why did the police arrest and detain her? Was she making bombs in Ibadan?, was she blackmailing him? Did she kidnap his child?, did she have access to church funds to defraud them?
Other than oral diarrhoea- defamation/libel, What crime has she committed? Punishment for libels are civil remedies and not criminal punishments, so why the detention in jail?

The Bible says you should answer a foolish person according to his foolishness so she will think she's wise in her own eye.
I think that's what happen in this case, but if Kemi seek forgiveness, she will found it.

You hear things like that every time. No true believer leaves because of issues. When people move from church to church looking for a perfect church it shows how imperfect they are themselves . They are like men or women changing partners perpetually. If you lose a man like that celebrate it. They are not worth you.
