Ok, Elijah could have used force to put that knife in when he ran to catch his brother from falling down after stabbing Marcel.. He could have, considering Marcel was struggling to remove the knife, he was not 100% strong, Elijah could have dig it in very well, e no matter whether he be super original, the blade would have caused him pain for atleast 2 hrs instead of secs, And they would have make it out of Orleans without hearing nonsense those speech from Marcel were too over-the-top, i was like shoo, that's enough we don hear...

But that never came to the writer and director's minds..

And one more thing, isn't Freya strong enough to spark Marcel with super big headache?

This season should not have only 10 episodes, we need the original family back on top. I love the movie because it shows how far a person can go his family. Relegating their power will relegate the true essence of the movie.

Assuming it is going to affect klaus, the only reason I can come up with is that, the venom is from the whole clans of werewolves .klaus was never bitten by an upgraded Vampire so it is actually a safe bet to say it would not affect him at all .
