If I'm to use the paper route, do I submit the police certificate and doctor's report too?

Good evening everyone, I have been a silent follower on this thread, wishing that one day I will be opportuned to write here.
I have an offer to study pre nursing at the Brandon University comes this September. My first degree is Education Chemistry but my result was not that wonderful, I had 2.2 but with 2.6 cgp, it was the school that advised me, instead of my application fee to waste that I should chose an undergraduate course of my choice.
I want to start my visa application but my question is, how do I convince them, knowing that my first degree and this nursing did not relate? Can you guys I mean the guru's to help and guide me on how to package this. Also, my sponsor will be my brother. Thanking you all
when did you graduate? just like u said it will be hard to convince the vo but nothing is impossible with a good sop. maybe the gurus in the house can help on how to go about your sop

Bro like u 've said not related u rite, I would advice u look 2wards colleges for PGD for a related program to b on a safe side in ur academy aspect, but if u which to use ur Bsc, u ve to explain much on ur gap, wit ur details on ground even a gud sop will not help, if u add ur first Bsc to it, and i don't tink u 've any link on ground with nursing 4rm ur explanation, but since u ve d admission now, and if u wish to make do with it den u 've to silent your first Bsc on ur application, becos dere is no link with ur previous program or current employment and you are still going 4 same Degree, ( dis results to purpose of visit ) so if usin ur SSCE ( for d Bsc in nursing ) u 've to fill d gap of after ur SSCE to date wat 've u being doing, with proof. e.g office job or business( helping mumsi or popsi with proof ).

For your sponsor( third-party ) to show signs of commitment he has to either pay part of your school fees( I knw Brandon university does not request such, but jst for d purpose of your point to convince d VO of ur Bro"s commitment ) or transfer d funds to ur account and indicate it in his sponsorship letter. SUCCESS

I think it takes approximately 4 months for a decision to be made in UofA.

I applied last year (M.Eng Control Systems ECE) 19th May 2016 and a decision was made on my application 20th of September 2016. So I will say you would hear from them this month.

Meanwhile, A friend got his admission offer today, M.Eng Chemical Engineering from UofA. He applied Dec 2016.

So just be patient.

Okay. Thank you

In 50 - 100 words, why Bsc in business administration after OND in computer science and experience as a logistic officer?

Take your time to answer it.

Even if you print online, you need your bank manager's signature and stamp on the statement. So speak to someone in your bank and let your brother go and get it

The posts I read here have truly been helpful.

I intend to submit my application by next week. Graciously, I got full funding from the school for a one year Masters program. I will also attach my SOA since I have been working for quite some time.

My challenge however is home tie. I'm single and I have not included any landed property in my application since I have none. However, I have already included the following documents to prove home tie: Pension statement, Employment and promotion letters, Letter of introduction from a professional body, Family info form(parents and siblings all resident in Nigeria). Would these serve as good home tie?

Please I need your advice

Thanks so much for this, yes, what am planning now is to look for a college and do chemistry related course in Pgd for Jan 2018, while I try my luck for this September. but what if after silencing my Bsc and later be denied, then in my next application states my degree what will happen am just thinking.

as for my sponsor, I have two people either my brother or his friend not a relation he owns a big company, of he will stand to write that he is sending me to school in other for me to become the company's nurse after studying. what do you think? meanwhile am a female. could you please recommend good colleges for me to try. thanks

English that needs evidence through direct payment of fees from sponsor's account and transfer of partial or full upkeep money into your account. This would reduce the probability of financed based refusal.

56k is not too much to risk. But, it is better, with less explanation, when you go for higher degree in the field of your previous study.

Good luck

i will advise you not to silent your Bsc, if am in your shoes i'll not apply with the nursing program, I will rather get a proper course that align with my bsc and probably go for winter entry, there is no point wasting money when you know where your app is faulty. pls an pls dont silent ur bsc becox if u do and u get denied , it would be a hard nut to crack by the time you want to reapply. a word they say is enough for the wise. from personal experience, my 1st visa app was denied solely bcox of my ignorant and no support from any1 to advice me, after submission i got to know about this wonderful thread, i posted somth abt my profile and I remember vividly @MichV said am likely to face d issue of 'PURPOSE OF VISIT' and lo n behold it came out just like that, my case wasnt as worse as yours in terms of the choice of course. make use of the avaible info cox if i had the info before i applied then, wouldn't have bn refused. *PeaceOut*

Hello, Could you please recommend good colleges for me to try.

Couldn't find any direct one check the below link when I searched

http://www.universitystudy.ca/search-programs/?k=Chemistry&program_level_merged=Graduate+level+certificate%2Fdiploma&program_language=ENGLISH#facettes

However, you can email graduate program coordinator in below masters program. Tell them you like the program but fear you may not qualify due to low GPA(...put your CGPA here....). As such, you will like to know if you be can offered a pre-master qualification program.

http://www.universitystudy.ca/search-programs/?k=Chemistry&program_level_merged=Master%27s+degree&program_language=ENGLISH&university=&province=

Email them all and ensure you personalise each email. You will be happy you did, no matter the outcome. Good luck.
