That's what Christianity is all about. Without faith you can't serve God.
Sorry, faith isn't an acceptable currency in science.

But that what's happening now in science. Your belief that it's not God is based on faith because it cannot be logically proven by you.

Every god based religion also thinks faith is most essential

I'm not arguing it.

It doesn't need faith to reject a notion.
Science doesn't use faith, it's either there or it isn't.
There's is no "I believe it is there"

It's becoming quite apparent that when Christians get cornered in their argument for a 7 day creation story, they switch to an Intelligent Design argument (Nature is so intelligently designed and fits so seamlessly, so, it has to be God).

But the argument is flawed and largely based on 2 things,
1) Argumentum ad ignorantiam: Argument from ignorance. We don't know, so, God.
2) God of the gaps: There is a gap in the demonstrable knowledge of science, therefore, God.

Proponents of Intelligent Design present their argument for a deistic God but further probing and investigation of the leaders of the Intelligent Design movement show that they are arguing for a Christian God which makes it no different from creationists.

The science community all over the world has largely debunked the idea of Intelligent Design based largely on the fact that they don't have a demonstrable hypothesis despite the fact that the leaders of Intelligent Design movement are scientists.
Infact, it has been classed as a Pseudoscience right in the group of allopathic and homeopathic medicine.

Proponents of Intelligent Design largely fail to explain obvious design flaws in their intelligent design.

So, by and large, Intelligent Design is a movement created by creationists when faced with the absurdities of a 7 day creation story.

There is something you need to understand. There are questions you can't just say I have no answer to. For example imagine the America government telling the US citizens that (up till now) they don't know who is behind 9/11 (An event that happened in 2001 - 16yrs ago).

Questions that bothers the origin of universe, how it all started, how we got here... are too critical to be filled with "I/we don't know". People will definitely come up with all sorts of explanations (ID is one of them) and since there is no concrete proof to back all these explanations, the confusion and arguments will go on.

There are things we didn't know in the past that will we know now. The problem I have with organized religion is that there are still holding on to 2000 years old piece of work as fact and answer to most of these questions.

In summary, as we investigate and research, I will adapt to new findings but for now I believe a being with infinite source energy that is not bounded by space and time started it all. The source energy is in you, it is in me.

So, because I don't have an answer to a question yet, I should come up with bullshitttttt?
That's just being a smartass.

No, that's being Human. I emphasis on the fact that this is not an ordinary question. Atheists came up with the "the universe came from nothing", bulllshiittt. So let the arguments and bulllshiittts continue.

Ha! So science is no longer what you can logically prove. It's well.
