This is not unexpected judging from the recent happenings. They may not really go the conax, Nagravison, irdeto encryption way, but may do an upgrade that makes it difficult for the keys to be cracked.

MTN is doing same on NSS 12, where the EMM changes too frequently, now very difficult to crack
