Slavery is slavery and all was done with force. The Arabs got their slaves through raids and wars. When Islam came, it laid down rules for the exchange and treatment of slaves but the trade had been going on for millennia. It's on record that the trans Atlantic slave trade that started in the 14th century not slavery itself.

Just imagine such a sorry situation for a young douglass! I believe the Whites know the power of posterity and how I would taint their "whiteness" hence they made good efforts at distorting history and turning it on its head to favour them.

Not every white man wanted slave trade in the first place, clamours rose over the years and thank God for Abraham Lincoln who helped in abolishing the practice, not without war which lives of white people. End to slavery is not the same as End to racism and outright discrimination, that's is the battle Martin Luther King Jr fought.
