They wear 'social' masks in order to blend with the need to seem social which inherently they are not.

It's not the same as someone who has something to hide from the public view that they would rather not let the world know as a result of the ignominy that may come with it.

Hmmm...I sorta disagree with you there to a degree. A charade is still a charade regardless of what motivates it. Also most introverts imo, tend to have eccentric or oddball ways , which they try to keep under wraps or pretend it isn't as big an issue when in reality it really is. Again, everything must be in the shadows or behind the scene. Most tend to be very obsessive about their interests as well, be it a love interest or any subject that piques their interest. I guess it's because of the none stop thinking that comes with being an introverted person. Once you latch on to something mentally, you can't turn it off. It becomes an all consuming obsession. They're also known to stalk but in their minds they justify it as doing research/keeping tabs.So yes, there's a dark side to it which they wouldn't want to see the light of day. Did you know that most villains in fiction & in reality are/were introverts?

Oh wow, I'm also an INTJ! Regarding accuracy, it's as accurate as your honesty in the questionnaire. Personally, I take several tests from different websites just to be sure of the results.

You sound just like me. I'm not afraid of conflict. I try to avoid it but when it comes I don't back down. The issue for me is FAIRNESS because I believe I'm a fair person. I always treat people how I want to be treated. So if I feel I'm being treat unfairly, I get confrontational. I advise to take the BFI test, it rates personality to
five types based on just fifty questions.
It will give a better view on your personality.

Yea, he spends more time indoors and only communicates with people who are of genuine and productive interest to him as well to them too. Refrains from communication only to the needful basis except the other party shows humorous wit. Because he likes to laugh.


Plus even when he decides to go out for fun or leisure, he prefers it to be when the sun is down or after dusk.
