@ bolded, he was trying to be funny. Obviously, you weren't in the mood! Congrats!!
Don't mind me. The sentence I was expecting to hear was supposed to start with "I'll be approving.." and not "Sorry". lol

You need a very good profile to get into those schools. A friend didn't get funding with 4.74/5 GRE 227 Toefl 107 (Civil Eng)
Is this GRE score a mistake ?? .... very low GRE for such a high GPA.

Been reading through this thread and I'm so happy for you guys who have gotten your visas approved. The school I applied for my masters did not give me any research topic. Should I be concerned about this? Cause I've noticed most interview transcripts mentioning research and I have no idea how to answer any such question.
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 11 by OluDare01(m): 5:02pm On May 23, 2017

Use the research interests of the Prof you'd like to work with.

How do I know what prof to work with? Do I just pick anyone?

You don't need to want to work with them. Just pick any research that piques your interest, and talk about it.

Hmm ok. But I hope that my admission being in a private university does not put me at a disadvantage.

No, no. It's harder to get into private schools, so it's actually a plus.

Really? Didn't know that. I applied to only one school and got the admission. I applied there when a relative suggested it and because the application process was not difficult, despite my tight schedule.

- Be confident that you worked hard for the admission, and be able to explain to the VO how you did it
- Have money to sponsor yourself
- Be willing to come back.

All the best!

Good day to the guru in the house and to everybody contributions to the success we are all aiming at for F1 visa success.
I have a few question to ask and I will be greatful for the respond
I have ND in computer science and I apply to study computer and information science at Murray state university fall 2017, and I have been issued I-20, but i did not write any test examination because the school didn't required it in their admission details. I just want to know what is my chance of getting F1 visa successfully without been denied because I will be going to the embassy next month for an interview, and concerning my dad did not have such money to spornsor my tuition fees but my brother will be supporting me cause in base in the state.

Let's give the thanks to God

GRE is graduate record examination for those who are going for msc degree and also want free fall money from their school of choice because it is used to determine scholarship

Ielts means International English Language Testing System and it's used to know if applicant is proficient enough in English language especially for those whose first language is not English and can be used together with GRE to get funding specifically for those who want to lecture student as their job in the school

I just hope you grab it better the way I explained it
Yea! I did perfect. Thanks. What score can get To secure a place in GA/scholarship?

To those interested...
Abuja to JFK Egypt Air.
Disclaimer: just for guidance, carry out you own findings.
Even a flight to Abuja is like 23k + 215k = 248k
LoL.. shocked

Except the 215k is not accurate or they are giving us a different exchange rate.
Anybody familiar with TravelStart pls help the house..

1. Nobody can tell if you'll be given visa or not.. But we can tell you to prepare well and be truthful and consistent wth the information you provided in your ds160 form
2. I want to assume you used your dad's statement of account to get your form i20, if yes you should just tell the VO that he'll be the one sponsoring you and if otherwise state it. Regards

Only Nevada admitted him but no funding. He's going to Hong Kong instead
