I have seen people whose applications were handled in London.
Very few and rare case(s). Most online application would be processed within an applicant's region of residence. This will aid easy processing without violating any exisiting laws surrounding transmission of international passport accross international borders. Alot of agreement has to be reached before it is allowed. I doubt the canadian government will want to enter into that when it has other visa offices near the applicant performing same duties with a better grab and understanding of each supporting document submitted.

Someone should please respond to this.

Who has been admitted into University of Manitoba (Fall 2017) and has paid the tuition? I need direction on how to go about the tuition payment from Nigeria. Did you go through Globalpay or you wired the tuition using Form A?

Has anyone also used Western Union Globalpay for students in paying school fees? Kindly shed more light on it if you have, or you have any information on it.[/quote]

Did Prof. Chris Zhang mentioned anything about funding?
Secondly, you can apply for NDDC scholarship closing this Friday and finally once your 2/2 is 3.0 above on WES rating your admission is very sure.

Best Regards.

I don't think those applying to Cabaduna Universities are eligible for NDDC Scholarship

Try university of Saskatchewan

Sorry to hear you were rejected in the University of Regina.

You can send me your GP and research proposal, I can help you talk to my Professor in Process Systems Engineering. Hopefully, you can re-apply and be admitted in Winter.

(No guarantee please). I am not the admission committee.

Before you send me a PM, write the reason for the PM here and quote me. I receive so many PM's lately and can't respond to everyone.

chairman go there and do your medicals. You have no problem. Forget about Alexander anga. They have other doctors there. It won't take more than a week to update CIC about your medical if you are fine. Good luck

Please house, is it compulsory to do upfront medicals if one wants to go via paper route?

My simple advise.

With a view not to sound repetitive,

1) No matter the admission offer you have (bsc, diploma, pgc, pgd, msc, phd), ensure you have an airtight application. Heck, I recently read a case where a phd applicant was refused visa even with funding because she failed to specify the funding details in her sop and didnt attach the funding offer(she thought she did). She later re applied and got it. Moral: cross check everything before submission, never assume the VO will request for any missing document that might favour you. The more the merrier.
2) Ensure there is some level of progression with respect to your academic offer. This will save you the stress of trying so much to explain the reason why you are going for your course. We keep saying this, things are changing, VOs are humans still leaving in this world, so they know too.

3)Availability of funds is not a criteria to be given VISA. It is one of rhe requirements. As such let every factor work hand in hand for your good.

4) By all means seek alternatives. There are many roads to a destination.

Do have a lovely day.

This makes sensible sense...instead of one arrogant VO here playing god and being categorical. He should take several seats and keep his data for more pressing issues. Its a public forum, soldier will go,soldier will come undecided

nb: i was delayed by the english test

As already stated by other members. It's best you wait for the next admission cycle.

But why did you feel the need to write an English test ?

Also, I will advised anyone who has been refused to request the GCMS File. This will guide you to reshape your next application and refire.

You can't do the same thing twice and expect a different result.

No Ma, it's not compulsory. People do upfront medical to expedite their visa processing.

I would believe that the main reason UBC stated that on their website is regarding minor/children of school age that intend to study immediately the arrive with parents. Your friend's baby is still very young and filling a study permit application may just not be the perfect move because they will be conditions on the permit that the baby must meet.

However, IRCC also mentioned that minors already in canada(visitor visa) can go to school( pre, primary, secondary) without a study permit.
With that being a plus, your friend should apply for a visitor's visa for the baby as an accompanying minor while filling his/her study permit application.

There are opportunities to extend the visitor's visa as an accompanying minor.A major one is the fact that your friend will be a student and on a study permit.

Find other useful information about accompanying minors on this link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/students/minor.asp
I appreciate this response, handled as recommended

waow! list so scanty & small yet u scaled thru, u are vry lucky.. congrtz once more.

Dont say lucky. Please.

Lucky means he didn't deserve to get approval.

So many peeps on this thread don't know WTF they're doing and that's why they get delayed. Good thing they are here though....

An appeal to everyone on reading this is to take the pain to indeed go through the whole thread and not just a couple of pages. I started reading from Part 11 a couple of weeks ago.

It's gonna be a painful to take my time to understand the process, apply, get approved and someone will come and tell me I'm lucky. I sorta kinda take offences easily.

Thank you

Sincerely,
