Hi Guys, i had to travel for an impromptu event so i didn't come here with my international passport but i would like to pay the 64k visa fee tomorrow here before heading back to Lagos, my question is , is it compulsory to show them my international passport at GTB before they accept the payment or i just need my infos on the Passport, maybe a scanned copy or picture from phone would do? i would appreciate your responses both the Good and funny, grin i love you all. God Bless Nigeria.
I didn't go to GT bank with my passport.. luckily I had a scanned copy of my passport on my phone.. I sent it to them via email (which they printed out) and that was it... hope this helps

My academic profile: ielts75%. Waec 7B and 2A. Degree program: bachalors in geology with 40% scholarship. Pls comment on my mock interview preparation. Vo: how many schools did u apply to? Me: four schools. Vo: how many schools gave u admission? me: 2admits and 2 still pending. Vo: Which school gave u admission? Me: washington state university and skagit valley college. Vo: why washington state university? Me: i choice washington state university because of its very good academic settings which is made up of a balance faculty ratio of 19 students per class, this will enable me communicate with d professior easily and also the professior can easily identify each student weakness and strength.

If your eyes are bad or you have any eye defect, please get your glasses before coming here. I went for my driving license test and I failed the eye test. They gave me a form to give an optometrist to fill and I need to get my glasses before I can write the knowledge test.
Anything healthcare here is so expensive. I called my insurance and they said they don't cover any dental or vision plan.
Now I am looking for a vision insurance to cut down the cost.
Get your glasses before coming here!
Lmaoooo Oga u still carry this matter come here? grin grin grin

Goodday all,

Please I need your opinion @lagosismyhome, walspring and others. Is it appropriate to call or send a mail to my school to give a status update on my application. I was informed that decision would be made approximately two weeks which get finished this week.
Your feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

It is appropriate and also your responsibility to ask for your admission application status

Go to Walmart it's $45 for contact lenses and $75 for examination. That should get you going if you can't afford $300 for glasses.

Funny thing I booked an appointment with Walmart but I never showed up,I was sceptical about their vision centre. The cheapest I got so far is $400 but I'd find my way.
Thanks

You sound promising. Rather than talk about WashU's general campus, why don't you find a strong point for its Geology program specifically? Why didn't you write the SAT? Why did you get the scholarship? Who will be funding the balance? What do you plan to do post graduation?

Think about these, as you prepare. Have fun, and good luck!

Good morning house please while filling my DS 160 form, I got to a place where am to write my monthly income in local currency. Am not collecting huge salary, though I have the person sponsoring me. Will low or high income determine chances of getting F1 visa during interview?

Feel free to check on the status at any time..... yes everything must be done with moderation so don't chase it every second but if you feel the urge to knw the status now... call preferably or send a mail. No harm in that
