NYC...High Rise on the rise revisited. .. as seen from across the river from downtown Brooklyn.... and a closer view from in Manhattan.

NYC...Looking down into Lower Manhattan...Financial District..Wall Street area...while on way up to Brooklyn Bridge.

NYC...dedicated to the architects/engineers...condo on the rise... looks kinda flimsy to me the layman!...like I need to see steel framework..but. .. guess they know what they be doing since the buildings don't be collapsing!

NYC... Subway (Underground)trains...mass transit. Entrances.... stairs at all...elevators and escalators at many. Card vending machines.... enter by swiping at turnstiles...

NYC...Subway....accessible by the handicapped.

NYC..... dedicated to the tribalists/racists/religious fanatics..... NYC is not the city to be if you can't embrace others.... this is one big melting pot.... you just can't avoid othersss....in the subway....walking the streets in their native dress.... queuing for bus...and the homeless is everywhere... all shades.

NYC.....world famous Madison Square Garden (thanks to Mohammed Ali). View from ehmm. ..Hilton Hotel roof garden...like 50/60 floors?...not sure..but damn sure I'll be splattered on the street if I jump off!...and yeaaa!...discovered another 'African' restaurant. Was disappointed.... salivated in vain.....no bush meat!

Does NYC have surburbs that's not far from the city? I'm contemplating whether to live in New York or go to a more laid back city.

Long Island. .. and although part of the city..Staten Island.

NYC...the Hustle. Building material deliveries...cement/marble..one man and machine! FEDEX Ground contract worker/Food delivery?...Mexican on electric bike Uber?...special vehicle for the elderly/handicapped...built in ramp...female driver!

NYC....Police response...man in rubbish bin?!... guess shoplifter and a bit ehmm...unstable!... handcuffed and guess taken to evaluate mental health.

NYC....getting my really fresh squeezed orange juice from Mexican !.... lots of Latinos in this area...they go more for natural foods than processed stuff. Background....on street mailboxes for the building.

For ppl who may someday find themselves in NY for the first time, This is New York subway, The trains are numbered, ABCDE...1234... etc
The trains have one of these numbers, which tells the destination. uptown or downtown depends on where you are headed.

The second picture is where you swipe your MetroCard, You have to get the card before you cross that line
there is always a vending machine right there where you buy the metrocard, Jump that and NYPD will arrest you.

3rd picture is in the train, check that so you dont pass your destination

I made this comment a while back and the person (Originalsly) gave a suitable reply. I don't know what is your issue with it. Why are you digging up hostorical comments that have been overtaken by events?
