Please all these personal attacks should stop.
Veecovee informed the house he sold yesterday. Of course, he thinks people will start taking profits which he stated this morning, asking for people's opinion. I see his post as a discussion starter. Most responses to that post are simply not in line with the spirit of this forum. While I did not sell, I would still prefer a robust discussion with arguments for and against profit-taking.

Let's desist from all these protectionist attitude. Non of us stands to gain from that on the long run.

Personally, I did not sell because I am in FBNH for the long term, I believe it has not finished its climb and I believe this is more of a shakeout.

Disclosure:- I've been in FBNH for over a year and I am ready to be there for about 2 more years, if I don't hit my price target earlier. So, my views are in line with my investment style.
What's your target price to sell ? .

On Friday, the NSE crossed the N10 trillion mark for the first time in 2017, and has maintained such upward trajectory into bullish trade on Tuesday. The market, which closed at N10.047 trillion on Friday, closed Tuesday at N10.121 trillion, with an all share index (ASI) of 29,276.59 — the highest since June 2016. The bullish trend was aided by rallying of bank stock at fresh highs. First Bank of Nigeria saw its stock soar by over 10 percent to its highest levels since 2015. Nigeria’s central bank claims that the rally seen in the stock market has been as a result of improved foreign exchange policy actions by its administration. Godwin Emefiele, governor of the apex bank, said improvements in the forex market is bolstering activities of the capital market. “Relative to end-December 2016, the capital market indices rose by 4.60 and 5.10 percent, respectively, reflecting growing investor confidence following improvements in foreign exchange supplies reflected in the over US$1billion injected through the investor window and exchange rate management,” Emefiele had said. “Total foreign exchange inflows through the CBN increased by 69.77 per cent in April, 2017 compared with the previous month. Total outflows, however, rose, but less significantly, at 29.35 percent during the same period. “Consequently, the Committee observed that the average naira exchange rate remained stable at the inter-bank segment of the foreign exchange market in the review period

The four levels of wisdom;
The man who knows and knows he knows is wise. Follow him.
The man who knows and knows not he knows is asleep. Wake him.
The man who knows not and knows he knows not is a student. Teach him.
The man who knows not he knows not is a fool. Shun him.

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo will no longer sign the 2017 budget by 9am on Thursday, TheCable can report.

A source had told TheCable that the budget was due to be signed on Thursday and that the presiding officers of the national assembly had been invited to witness the exercise.

But the presidency made a last minute cancellation of the exercise.

TheCable learnt earlier on Wednesday that a team from the presidency had met with the leadership of the legislature where it was disclosed that the budget would be signed the next day.

A source at the meeting disclosed that signning of the budget was the main issue that the presidential team discussed with the lawmakers.

But later in the evening, the leadership of the national assembly was informed that the exercise would no longer go on as planned.

A few days ago, there was a controversy over whether Osinbajo would sign the budget or not. But his aide, Laolu Akande, said he would do so when he is satisfied with it.

The national assembly passed the budget on May 11, and it was transmitted to the presidency on May 18.
