House please my wife will be travelling to Trumpland for her MSC very soon, can she travel with just a thousand dollar....Tho i will be sending money to her very soon...Am just scared of the POE issue and secondly she's pregnant not too obvious tho

So far the people who have posted their travel transcript did not experience been asked how much are on them, neither is there any minimum amount or are you expected to be travelling with your full school fees ...also if asked at POE she can easily say she travelling with just a thousand dollars because the rest will be sent via money transfer.... due to security it is not even good to carry too much cash so she should be fine

Regarding been pregnant... well i am not so sure
Usually if it's B1b2 and it was not stated then that can be an issue but for F1 visa . That should be ok if she feels she can cope doing MSC and been pregnant. She just explain at POE that she more than capable if asked . No law against been a student and been preggy

Most F1 students are hardly asked any questions at POE ... she should not worry too.much...... However let her not forget to post her transcript oooo so others who will be like her can read of her experience .

Hello everyone, its been a while i posted here, its not been easy. I thank God for a successful semester that has just ended. It has been a bitter sweet feeling for me this semester. The worst happened to me, i lost my dad, i was emotionally devastated but God was able to see me through. I was still able to pull a 4.0 gpa cause God had my back and i know He will never abandon his son. I wish you all success in your ambitions and endevours.

Initially I was going to respond . Then noticed that you posted it on

Estonia, US , to the VO , France , Germany threads ……… grin Lol . How many Embassies do you want to apply to . Kilode

Clarify which embassy this relates to , the someone can answer accordingly
I am applying for Norway though, at times you just have to know that things are not the way you think. I did that to get various responses so that I can be able to filter the reasonable truth. You do realise that people say lots of things here on nairaland. I have personally corrected some wrong information here. Bro please if you have any info help your fellow.

if you need reasonable truth then it best to only post it in Norway Thread ONLY ................ Posting it here makes people think its for the USA and Others might advice you what is applicable for US Embassy . Same with the other thread you posted it on

US Embassy rules and systems are different from Norway so are the other countries ...Various Responses can result in more confusion because each Embassy has its own rules and process .

Even different Visa Categories have their own different processes / rules within the same country

For me the first school I applied to was a top school and I was admitted. Then I applied to a safe school with the hope of getting better funding. The so called safe school did not even give me admission talk more of funding grin grin Safe schools are not that safe, so to me if you have an ok profile apply to both top and safe schools.

Hello everyone. Im not very active on this thread. However i took ample time to study all the manuscripts. My visa got approved today to the glory of God. It can only be God. Thank you Nairaland.

V.O : so, why New England College

Me: the school is ranked by world report and USnews.com as best regional school in the north as far as my course is concerned. Also the school has a track record tailored to what i want to study. Student faculty ratio is 19:1. It has seasoned professionals both on field and in research, the like of Dr. Lori Koziol who is an outstanding scholar in the field of translational bioinformatics( v.o cuts in)

V.O : When did you finish university

Me: in 2013

V.O : What have you been doing since then.

Me: After NYSC, i have been working as a medical officer at the federal medical center Lagos, where i treat general medical cases. I manage uncomplicated medical emergencies in all age groups. I also administer and monitor vaccination in immunization clinic. My work involves keeping tract of vast amounts of data recorded manually hence my choice of course..(cuts in).

V.O : I will be approving your visa.( hands me white paper and circles pickup address)bla bla...

I went blank and didn't hear the rest of all what he was saying.

Advice- be audible, coherent in speech and confident. Maintain a genial eye contact and speak fluently( without faking any accent).
