For the past twenty or so years, I have been a research partner in several prestigious universities around the world in Europe and America. I have worked with a lot of institutions in AlaIgbo. At the end of this discussion, I will give you a detailed record of my life work.

My question is, how can a new country like biafra grow within a short period of time with their core enemies living side by side with them? because without the help of your neighboring contries i dont think a new nation can survive within a short time.

We must coexist peacefully with our neighbours, My projection is that about 10% of our trade will be with our immediate neigbours. Biafra will be a like a giant factory producing goods and services for exports to the rest of the world. We are already seeing that in the form of Vehicle production (Innoson) to Agriculture (Adada and Abakaliki rice).
The stability of our neighbours is unpredictable, we will have to quickly assemble a powerfull millitary in terms of hardware and personnel to counter any instability. We will have to set aside a substantial resource in the form aid to help our neighbour if they require our help.
Biafra will be a forward facing country willing to strike deals across the world for the developmental and economic benefit of our people.

Let us asume we return to Biafran pounds, low exchange rate is really not a big problem. The Japanese Yen is trading at 109 Yen to One Dollar. What the low value of the Yen has done is enable Japan to over the years produce cheaply and export around the world.
The biggest issue about a currency is stablility and inflation. We will have to quickly establish a central bank that is up to the task.
A stable government, country and currency will probably attract an annual investment of about 200 bilion dollars.

Isn't it funny that rather than look for means to co operate with Biafra to lift themselves up from their failure state, as well as help Biafrans find their footing, Bitter retrogressive entities in Nigeria are all more concerned about constituting hostility and standofish tendencies towards Biafra to prevent her from achieving her lofty dreams.

These people are not interested in working on their own failures, they are more interested in constituting a stumbling block to our success strides.

This is everything that is wrong with these people, the exact reason they are doomed to continue failing, and why we must extract ourselves from them, making Biafra establishment a must.

In Biafra, we can achieve the bold part of your post, to keep ourselves immune from their hate and hostility, while we work on our success, in Nigeria we can't and remain exposed to their hostility without any form of defense, making our success impossible.

Apart from oil, what is going to he major of revenue in the new Biafra. I'm saying this in view of the likely post oil effect on oil dependent countries like Biafra. Can Biafra be an agriculturally viable nation, considering its possible constraints due to limited land space, erosion and other hampering factors?

Biafrans are planing to set up the largest development fund in Africa that will be injected into the Biafran economy using Biafran diaspora bond and contributions.

The fund will be dedicated to rapid infrastructure development from seaports to railways to highways etc.

It will help us catch up with the rest of the civilized world.

Biafra is not limited by land space, in Biafra you will find one of the most arable land in Africa. Some part of Biafra is covered by forest, we will have to do all we can to maintain and reclaim those forest inorder to tackle some of the ecological challenge we currently face. If you have been to Alaigbo. Ebonyi, Enugu and some parts of Anambra have a topography that is suited for extensive farming. There are probably more land available to Biafra as compared to say the united Kingdom.
Agriculture will have to be supported by government through subsidies and research grants. Please feel free to visit our higher instituion of learning to find out the cutting edge Agricultural research being produced. All that is needed is a governmental support

With modern system of farming, you don't need the whole world to feed a nation. All that is needed is modern methodology and equipments. Take South Korean as an example. All we need to survive in Biafra is good will. Create modern day internal security system, Chase all those nonentities they imposed on us as leaders, select or elect technocrats, Biafra will compete with any nation on earth interm of development.

The is a good idea, most of the Japanese government debt running into Trilions of Dollars is held by Japanese institutions like pension funds etc. Most of the funds required for development will have to be sourced locally through monetary and Fiscal instrument of government.
What we need more from our diasporan population will be highly skilled imput.
The challenge will be;
how do you construct and maintain several thousands of kilometers of road network using locally sourced resources.
Create a standard healthcare system.
Gas flaring still occurs in a lot of communities, how do you convert this gas to electricity etc.
These are some of the challenges

You cannot completely eliminate corruption but there are best pratices around the world for tackling corruption. Transparency is the most important. Every governmental spending has to be available for public scrutiny.
Our system of government should be robust enough to demand accountability from the government of the day.

Though i will miss my numerous yoruba and housa friends but i will always prefere to be called a Biafran.

One answer I have is

In IPOB draft oganogram, there is a clause I love so much. The one that says that if unemployment gets up to 10% the prime minister MUST immediately resign, where will the room for corruption be?

Another one is the fact that in that organogram, a provision has been made for all manner of checks and balances here and there, provinces making there own laws, stringent conditions for qualifying for a post, above all patriotism

Electricity is a major challenge. Fuel (gas) is the important ingredient in electricity generation. Funny enough we are sitting untop of one of the worlds largest reserve of gas and oil. The solution to electricity will have to be the use of old and new technology.
The government must put mechanisms in place to encourage individuals and families to embrace solar and wind technology. There will have to be investment in building turbines, generators and transmission lines up and down the country.

We already have a Nigerian system in place at the moment. We will have start off on that system before it is quickly unpicked.
