EzeUche: Why are you trying to spoil this thread with this you lots unity begging business? Why exactly are you people doing this? Enu ani is Igbo and would ultimately end up with us. But Ikwerre? Hell no! You invite those lots, you open the gates for Igbophobic entities we are trying to stay away from. Please let this PH talk be. PH is a third world city, it's not New York for crying out loud. Before you know it, this thread would be derailed with irrelevant people given undue attention. Lets stop doing this to ourselves. 22 Likes 3 Shares |

pazienza: Ikwerre people won't want to stay in Nigeria without igbos forget all these shakara and besides they are not the only Igbo clans in rivers state. What about the rest that never denied their Igboness after they were carved out of abia state. Why do we always act as if they are the only igbos clans in rivers state or port harcourt while ignoring the rest. 1 Like |

Fremancipation: Then let them sort themselves out! Their problem, not ours! I don't see what they are bringing to the table that is indispensable that should make them relevant in every Biafran thread. Those people are Igbophobic, sometimes I wonder if any of my brothers had ever stepped foot into Ikwerreland or even Ikwerre facebook pages to know about these people? I once was like you before, but I know better now, peeps like Ezeagu were preaching this message of SE plus Enu ani and Oyigbo Biafra message I am preaching now before, but I never understood him, but now I do. Whether they will be ok in Nigeria or not is and should be none of our concerns. We first save ourselves. If you are talking about Oyigbo and Egbema, ie those that were carved out of Abia and Imo into Rivers, then you need not worry, we have them on board. Let Ikwerre be, forget them, they are not strategic to our plans, not indispensable and certainly not worth the headache. They( Ikwerre) have even started infecting Etche with their Igbophobia, bring them into Biafra and you have more problems on your hands to deal with. Now, you lots with this your unity begging business have ruined this thread, it's now all about irrelevant people again and not about the relevant people. 25 Likes 5 Shares |

jotey: Ikwerre are not Igbo. They said so themselves. We are not "leaving" them, they opted out ( loudly and rudely, I might add). Besides they don't bring much to the table and are really tangential to our plans. 11 Likes |

I just love the way this conversation is going but I will love to contribute. Before Biafra comes, we should establish a trust fund and asset generation scheme whereby 60% of Igbo's staying outside the borders of igboland can contribute an agreed amount. Those in the western world will make it a progress because of the obvious exchange difference and those within the shores of our present country can also donate. This monies will be a must and it will be termed diaspora taxation system. Though it is called diaspora tax, those within the border too will be part of the tax regime. We plan to raise close to 750billion naira yearly to kick start major capital projects that will ease business discomfort. With such plans in place and the small size of the east, then we are good to say, the total development of the east is a sure thing within the next 10years. 15 Likes 1 Share |

My question is how will Biafra be able to live as one and love there brothers as they love themselves, coz much I see is red eye everywhere. Secondly, how is Biafra going to secede from Nigeria, without history repeating itself.. Finally, if we are to have Biafra today, how do we control our borders against external aggression like what we see happening in Enugu i.e herd men's and also how do we checkmate immigrants and their periods of stay? |
Re: I Am An Expert In Development Economics. AsK Me About Biafra by pazienza(m): 5:25pm On Jun 06, 2017 |
jotey: Ikwerres are Ikwerres! Igbo is Igbo. It's not our duty to take them along or leave them behind. They chart their own course, we chart ours! We have Enu ani, Oyigbo, Egbema,Umezekoha, Isobo, all outside the SE, yet nobody is leaving them behind. The code name is Operation Noah's Ark, the ship is open for all Igbo speaking group to enter, nobody is begging anyone or leaving anyone behind, all enter of their own volition. No one is being left behind. Have you been to Ikwerreland before or joined any Ikwerre social media group to hear the people's opinion? 22 Likes |

Eastfield1: The code name remains Operation Noah's Ark. If Opobo want in, they can come in. Otherwise, nobody is going to beg anybody. Let this Unity begging business end, we are not Arewa-Oduanistanis. If we don't end it, we wouldn't gather enough critical mass needed to project this movement to the next level. Efforts would be dissipated discussing about irrelevant groups who would now feel important. 12 Likes 1 Share |

starkid1996: We shouldn't ban Islam because of the international repercussions but we should have strong border protection and patrol. No matter what happens we should never allow Muslim refugees to come in. They should go seek help from other Muslim countries. You can't be running to infidels anytime you need help. 5 Likes |

DocHMD: Ask why yourself this also, why is Anambra or IMO not as vibrant as Lagos State? The viability of Lagos is the ingenuity of the people therein, Lagos housed the very best of Nigerian brains be it Yoruba, eboe, Benin, etc. Lagos is metropolitan, the population is ready made markets for both visible and invisible trades. These facts largely contribute to Lagos viability not one stupid oyel, little wonder rivers state and delta state are not as viable as Lagos. The factors stated above is why southwest have been ahead of others.Human resources simpliciter. When regional government was holding sway then, it was the same thing, southwest was the envy of other regions. 4 Likes |

musicwriter: Nigeria as a whole will be better off in a region system that allow each region to harness their reources. The western region will be ahead in education, ecomerce etc, the north will be an agricultural and leather goods powerhouse that it once was and the southeast will be an industrial juggernaut. Why people are fixated on just oil baffles me. 1 Like |

It really gladdens my heart that such touchy topic could be discussed on NL to the 3rd page without the usual mud slinging and E-fisticuffs! Please let's sustain this. I'm aware quite a good number of my brothers brook no dissenting view, no matter how polite on Biafra. This is what drives many well meaning people - Igbos, Hausas, Yorubas et al away from identifying in one way or the other. This is not in any way saying I'm not oblivious of the taunts and hatred from certain quarters. Nigeria as it is, isn't working. However, I'm of the humble view that restructuring is the way. pazienza: I swear, please accept my bow. You have great foresight. I am typically among those sitting on the fence, not for aforementioned gloomy tales but the way Nnamdi Kanu has handled this Biafra thing. For instance, people now call him a prophet and bow at his feet. I believe you have seen images. Another said he cured a woman of some illness. Yesterday, I read about kogi and benue being called biafra. The list is endless and all these give the cause a distasteful colouration in the yes of many. I would prefer Nnamdi Kanu be replaced by a better brand. I love his guts as a typical igbo man but his approaches has too many dents that could stall the dream because he makes it look like no other people matter. Another thing are those who insults or attack you when you question their motives with reference to how Nnamdi Kanu is handling issues such calling of Jews and so on. If those sitting on fence should/would be won, a lot of things have to stop and it starts at Nnamdi Kanu's camp and his ideology or approach. I say this because his "brand of igbos" are boastful, arrogant, vindictive. If the way we have been discussing on this thread is how things have been co-ordinated, I assure you that we will earn a lot admiration. Taking the quiet and action route doesn't mean we are stupid. Look at China... while the world laughed at their products, they were working so hard until they took the world by storm. All these noise and boastful attitude will not take us far... The moment you share a contrary view, the next thing is, you are not igbo. Wtf? The shameful behaviour by all these guys needs to be stopped and put in check cos I hate it! 8 Likes |
