Who the Bleep told you this?

Nigga go read a history book and stop ranting what you read on FB or where ever.

The Great wall of China was built to stop the invasions and raid of nomadic clans invading the Chinese empire as well as used for border control.

My God I cannot believe a grown ass man with access with Internet actually spewed this level of ignorance you displayed here.

Here read and educate yourself

I said a Chinese.. I read it a few days ago... and I believe you know Quora. I never said myself said it. It was just my usual routine as I frequent there everyday...

then convince him. Igbos are just getting it wrong and they wont learn. A guy in Onitsha wants a guy in Sweden to see Biafra the same way he sees it. A lady in Enugu wants an igbo person in Scotland to just jump into the struggle the same way as she has. As much as you are all igbos, you all don't have the same orientation and are all not based in the same environment. Make your people see the bigger picture gently. Haba!!!

Have you done any research on landlocked countries and how they overcame their peculiar challenges. I know that Uganda has oil and gas. How is it exported. It has to be exported through pipelines that will span the territory of neighbor countries. Is there an international treaty that compels other countries to support landlocked ? We will still need or rent a sea port and I foresee the Nigerian government working through the south-south minorities to frustrate Biafra. We all cannot predict what the minorities will do.

Then let them sort themselves out! Their problem, not ours!
I don't see what they are bringing to the table that is indispensable that should make them relevant in every Biafran thread.
Those people are Igbophobic, sometimes I wonder if any of my brothers had ever stepped foot into Ikwerreland or even Ikwerre facebook pages to know about these people? I once was like you before, but I know better now, peeps like Ezeagu were preaching this message of SE plus Enu ani and Oyigbo Biafra message I am preaching now before, but I never understood him, but now I do.

Whether they will be ok in Nigeria or not is and should be none of our concerns. We first save ourselves.

If you are talking about Oyigbo and Egbema, ie those that were carved out of Abia and Imo into Rivers, then you need not worry, we have them on board.

Let Ikwerre be, forget them, they are not strategic to our plans, not indispensable and certainly not worth the headache. They( Ikwerre) have even started infecting Etche with their Igbophobia, bring them into Biafra and you have more problems on your hands to deal with.

Now, you lots with this your unity begging business have ruined this thread, it's now all about irrelevant people again and not about the relevant people.

Your ideas on this topic is great. We should focus first on core Igbo. Charity begins at home.

Regarding the highlighted, we should focus first, second, third and fourth on Igboland.

Lots of very good questions to reply, I am time constrained and will try to reply them by the weekend.

We should get our leaders to hold this type of interractive session here on Nairaland. They cannot continue to hide at Abuja

Can Biafra be a member of both Ecowas or the Community of central African states.

if it is possible, i believe it will be to Biafra's advantage. We would use that to explore diplomatic channels to open up both west and central African markets to Biafran goods, influence and culture.

Secondly, Biafra on the map is at the Heart of Africa, one can't distinctively say Biafra is a West African country. she can as well be said to be a Central African country.

Ah! You r back.Thank you for this thread.People tried to derail the objective of the thread.Thank God people r focused.I know Biafra will be great. The Biafrans r African capitalists and only mercantilists tribe in Africa. They determine what development takes places any where.I want to know:What will be the relationship between Biafra and Nigeria and other African countries?Between Biafrans and other countries in Africa, do Biafrans stand the better chance of providing expatriate services and investments to countries? How?Can you explain way they can do it and how they v been doing that? How can Biafra maintain a formidable bilateral relationship even when other tribes want to destroy her reputation? Two, how will Biafra as a Nation treat Biafrans in foreign land that commit crimes? Will they allow them to be prosecuted outside or come home to serve their crime?Three, how will Biafra as a nation protect the life of a Biafran in the remotest village in Africa?
I dont expect you to give out Biafran secrets but i will understand a clue of what you will say.
God bless you for this noble thread.

...No. There is nothing like core igbo or not. Please don't bring dicotymy amongst us. Maybe we should focused more attention on the igbos in SE goe political zone and also carried along other igbos in SS and other zones. If that's what you are trying to say then I totally agree with you.

Morocco just joined Ecowas despite being at the north of Africa geographically, so yes biafra can choose to join central Africa if she decides to. secondly,Biafra on the map is at the heart(center) of Africa hence it is not exclusively a west African country.

Yes I agree. My statement tends to discredit the aspiration of many Igbo who reside outside the core Igbo states. But you know in places like Rivers State the Ikwerre and Ogba are not very clear about what they want. Most are seating on the fence.

...I must really appreciates all the feedback and the responses so far. But I have the following questions :

1.Where will be the proposed capital considering that we are surrounded by hostile neighbours just like the case of Israel?
2.Before the actualization which seems very likely, how many international ally have we made, courted so far? There's a need for lobbyist group to have a presence in U.S govt or Congress. Very crucial!
3.If the new nation is born, how are we going to manage the revisitation of "our abandoned property"?
4.what are our various financial options considering the task of building a new nation. Thank you.

Building a new nation is always difficult.Your neighbors are not going to trust you quickly. My question is 1.How do you attain that level of trust in time so that it doesn't affect ur economy like we see in Eritrea? 2.How do you encourage Ibos who are scattered all over Nigeria to at least direct some of their wealth home?I met a young iboman doing well in Gusau who has no plan to return home. His parents are in Kano. 3.What is going to be the mainstay of your economy and what structures are on ground to achieve this?remember Israel did not just happen,it was aided by Britain and America.Thank you.
