You don't have the leavrage to tell me what's ethical and unethical. Its for those of concern n might need it. If it doesn't suit you then just read pass it.
Its a free world and I choose to do what I do,I am only accountable to God.
Nairaland has been helpful to me, I got questions on this platform that helped in time of need and I have the opportunity to help, I will do it with gladness of heart.

Keep being naive and puerile. People drag God to everything these days. As you said, I will just read pass your jejune comments next time. Welcome to the real world buddy.

I think its you that needs exposure, wat has naive got to do with wat I did, you can check d dictionary for help on the meaning of naive, I don't know y ppl just come on this platform n act like Mr perfect wen u knw u are not, the question is why are you on this platform or thread if you don't need help??
If your selfishness or thought has earned you great achievements in life or prob your dream job, you won't be applying to Shell or you won't be here following the thread.

Reading two of you has just proven the words of Mark Twain and Albert Einstein one more time:

Albert Einstein: “ Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity.”

Mart Twain: “ Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Since I don't have enough experience to beat you guys, I'm done with this. One love. grin

For me, Information is key, telling us u were not successful is brave and I commend those who did for that. It also gives room for hope on the side of those who are yet to receive any mail wether successful or not. Thanks again, at least now I know if you don't make it you will get feedback to that effect. I did mine since Saturday so my hope lives on.

Don't go about calling people stupid or implying that they are stupid; it doesn't speak well of you. That someone disagrees with you doesn't mean the person lacks sense. Everyone deserves minimum respect, bruv.

This is my 3rd time of going through this process with Shell so I guess I'm not as bothered or too excited as first timers here and I'm emotionally detached from any of the outcomes.

But one thing I know about personality test is this; people can't have same qualities to the same degree and there are no right or wrong answers. In fact, no organization wants to have a team filled with people having the same working styles. That's why its good to be true to yourself and not merely tick what you think they want to hear. They ask the same question in different ways and the software can know if you are lying. I did that in 2013 and that was why I failed the first stage - Personality test. I didn't proceed to 2nd stage - cognitive test. So I had to wait another year. But this year is different and even more interesting.

Good luck y'all.

Mehn! that test was like a lie detector test. Same question asked in different ways. At a point I thought CIA thing.

My brother that's what they do. Someone has to be mindful to beat the system. It's even worse at the embassies thats why they deny people visa and they wonder why.

Hello,
For those yet to do the on-demand interview, these are the questions:
1. What attracted you to apply to work in shell?

2. Describe a time when you sought feedback from others regarding how you could have improved on a recent project or task
Explain
-The situation
- why you sought feedback
- Feedback received
-How you acted on the feedback
-The outcome

3. Having to take on a new tasks outside of your comfort zone can be difficult. Provide an example of a time where you have undertaken a new or unfamiliar task
Explain
- The task
-why you understood the task
-The challenges you faced
_How you coped with the challenges
-The outcome

4. At times we rely upon contributions or support from others to achieve goals. Tell me about a time you successfully influenced others and gained commitment from them.
Explain
-The situation
-who the people were
-why you needed their commitment
-How you built rapport and influenced them
-The outcome

5. Working as part of a team means supporting others. Tell me about a time when you helped someone in your team develop or improve
Explain
-The situation
-why they needed your input
What actions you took
-The outcome.

Note the questions are slightly different with experience, but its kind of related, you just av to av good scenarios that will fit for answering. Hope it helps

No pun intended, but don't you think this is excessive and dangerous. Everybody here spent time researching on how to take that interview, with no background question(s) to guide and in your best judgement you come here to paste your Interview questions. I rationally believe this may be unfair to those who have taken the interview, especially those who have gotten the love letters! I am sure if they had access to this earlier on, they may have done better. Even the practice questions just before you take the ODI, does not prompt you to answer the questions in a set form - "the situation/action/outcome". This is all shades of inappropriate mate...all shades!
