Why should Biafrans do that?
If we start banning things that we see unfavorable to us then we be no more different than Nigeria.
The goal is to grow, not retrogress.

Freedom of religion would be allowed in Biafra and noone can intimidate or belittle anyone over their religious belief.
Islam might not have the best reputation right now but you must remember, there's good and bad Muslims just like we have good and bad Christians.
Also, judging by how things are going...Judaism might be the biggest religion in Biafra, if you're a Christian, will you like it Nnamdi Kanu ban Christianity?

Thanks man. We can't have government interference in religion. That's a recipe for crisis.

1. How many wars did the FG fight with Camerounn before letting go of Bakassi?

2. The Nigerian sovereign territory lost its integrity the day Bakassi was ceeded to Cameroun

3. The way your father woke up one morning and heard that Bakassi was no.longer part of Nigeria is the way you will wake up one morning and hear the Biafra has become a soveign state.

dyydxx:

This is the first delusion in response to a question on how BIAFRA could be achieved.

The Federal Government would never yield its asset without a fight. it will seek to keep its territorial and sovereign integrity. Anything else is just pure pipe-dream. The way you guys talk of BIAFRA it can only be achieved one way and that is winning the war to secede. Don't be deceived. If you are planning at least plan well.

Oya now if you are so confident tell your government to start another war and see how fast this contraption will collapse.

Assad thought that by strong arming the protesters and killing them, they will cower and run away. 6 years later, look at Syria today.

In the east we know that we can rebuild faster and stronger than any other group with no assistance. We have done it before and we can do it even much better and faster. Same cannot be said for the zoo.

Please tell Nigerian government to start a war and see Biafra become a country at the end of this year. You think western nations will support Islamic Nigeria over Biafra.

Secession is an act of war and once it is triggered by BIAFRA trying to seize and superimpose it's own sovereignty in an otherwise sovereign nation Nigeria. You are too ignorant and myopic too see that it's a response to your action that will trigger the war

I don't know about then, but at least I know now

You guys don't get things in Nigeria because you don't do things the right way

Sincerely I wish Igbos can get their Biafra and go, It won't be victory for Igbos alone, it will be victory for all - Less Noise and agitations everyday, Less enemity and hate speeches, and then they can finally develop their reigions, since they are the 'Developers' helping us to develop our own, Let them go use the expertise their. We really need lesser people in Lagos and some other states.

If you people are serious about Biafra, do it the right way, Let your Leaders Push for the referendum, Your Governors, Your Senators and Representatives, Your Influential people, If they are serious about it, The discussion will move to another level

#But your leaders don't want it
#Your Governors don't want it
#Your Traders and business people don't want it
#Igbos have more to lose in secession that any other tribe in Nigeria because they're the most scattered Both people and investments all over Nigeria
#If you're serious all of you will firstly move back to your regions
#It's an unnecessary agitation to get attention, it's all noise of Marginalization
#There was nothing like Biafra when Jonathan was ruling and people in power were mostly Igbos. Nobody cared then that Jonathan sidelined the Yoruba race, but all of a sudden everyone is shouting Biafra and marginalization when you lost power (Even Nnamdi Kanu was speaking as a 'NIGERIAN' From one of his videos in Uk before Jonathan lost, suddenly Nigeria turned to Zoo after the lose)

If you're serious take the right steps, Nnamdi Kanu and his poor IPOB youths cannot achieve anything tangible than causing obstructions and becoming a mild Boko Haram.Get the attention of people who shoould be pushing the cause and you will achieve it.

Excellent Submission

That is a factual response based on available data. We have done the modelling. It will be an economic disaster for Lagos if NdIgbo are suddenly relocated out of Lagos
Let me give you a simplistic example, if you are a landlord with several tenants. You decide to get rid of all your tenants because they are noisy. If you don't replace those tenant quickly, who pays the rent?

What is your own theory

The development of the igboland will only work when it is people oriented and not government oriented. Government should only be concerned about policy making drafted from reports coming from our educational, commercial, industrial, traditional and other sectors.

igboland should have a body that concentrate its mind and body on the economic development and expansion of the land.

With diaspora tax coming from all parts of the world and with smart loans and investment, the igboland is not too big that a development in a place will not be felt in other places. If it goes as planned, a man from Abia will be able to go to work in IMO and return to his home.

My main aim is to dredge obuaku and pay the ijaws and Ibibio billions of naira to allow us dredge through their communities. If granted and it works, then our dream has come to reality. Abia state will have super highways and rail lines connecting 4 different places in each state of igboland. This will make goods, people and services to reach different areas in due time.

The Alaigbo development fund will have to recreate Onitsha market to Onitsha mall city. Due to the household name the market has generated for itself in the last forty years, the market should be upgraded so that foreign buyers and tourists can come in and enjoy trading in the largest market in Africa. A mall city well designed to serve all the needs and wants of everyone in the world will be the target of the new onitsha market.

to be continued...

Stop using IPOB as an excuse for self-loathing. There are literally millions of nationalistic minded and pro-Biafran igbos who do not belong to IPOB nor necessarily agree with its ideology totally. You need no polite and courteous IPOB to know that Nigeria is not working and will never work due to its institutionalized injustice and penchant for wickedness.

Unless you are one of the few igbos who benefit from the status quo at the expense of the collective then you have no justifiable reason not know that this amalgamation is restrictive to the average igbo and is a huge burden on the entire south.

Please i want to ask if Biafra can be a member of both Ecowas or the Community of central African states.

if it is possible, i believe it will be to Biafra's advantage. We would use that to explore diplomatic channels to open up both west and central African markets to Biafran goods, influence and culture.

Secondly, Biafra on the map is at the Heart of Africa, one can't distinctively say Biafra is a West African country. she can as well be said to be a Central African country.

Ceded by who?

http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/169137-why-we-lost-bakassi-to-cameroon-surveyor-general.html

The Surveyor-General of the Federation, Peter Nwilo, has said that Bakassi Peninsula does not belong to Nigeria but to Cameroon.
Mr. Nwilo made the clarification when he featured as a guest on the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, forum in Abuja on Monday, saying that based on available facts, the disputed territory actually belonged to Cameroon.
Nigeria lost the territory to Cameroon based on a judgment of International Court of Justice in The Hague in October 2002.
Nigeria ceded Bakassi to Cameroon on Aug. 14, 2008 following the Greentree Agreement and thus ended the dispute over the 1,000sq/ km territory
Some 90 per cent of citizens in the Peninsula are of the Efik ethnic nationality in Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross River.
“Bakassi was more or less part of what they called Southern Cameroon.
“I know that the available facts did not weigh in favour of Nigeria…the facts they (Cameroon) had at their disposal did not favour Nigeria and that was why we lost it (Bakassi).
“Even though at times we think it is in Nigeria but the evidences didn’t seem to favour us,” he said.
Mr. Nwilo said Nigeria had 10 years to bring up new facts to support its claim and for the judgment to be reviewed but it did not have any new information.
“I know just a few months before that, some people brought up some documents but the country felt it was not something new.
“The condition is that it must be something that we did not have when that case was judged and I don’t think we were able to get something that could take us to the International Court of Appeal.
“The pillars are always put properly. That’s why I said that the accuracy of those pillars that you see is less than sub-millimetre accuracy. So the accuracy is very high.
“So it is not the position of the pillars that is the issue; it is the convention, what was agreed.
“It is after that you have agreed on something then you put pillars,” he said.

Like I said crass ignorance is a disease that only humility and a thirst for accurate knowledge based on cold solid FACTS and not assumptions, presumptions and postulations that have no basis in life or reality.

I swear, please accept my bow. You have great foresight. I am typically among those sitting on the fence, not for aforementioned gloomy tales but the way Nnamdi Kanu has handled this Biafra thing.

For instance, people now call him a prophet and bow at his feet. I believe you have seen images.

Another said he cured a woman of some illness.

Yesterday, I read about kogi and benue being called biafra.

The list is endless and all these give the cause a distasteful colouration in the yes of many. I would prefer Nnamdi Kanu be replaced by a better brand.

I love his guts as a typical igbo man but his approaches has too many dents that could stall the dream because he makes it look like no other people matter.

Another thing are those who insults or attack you when you question their motives with reference to how Nnamdi Kanu is handling issues such calling of Jews and so on.

If those sitting on fence should/would be won, a lot of things have to stop and it starts at Nnamdi Kanu's camp and his ideology or approach.

I say this because his "brand of igbos" are boastful, arrogant, vindictive.

If the way we have been discussing on this thread is how things have been co-ordinated, I assure you that we will earn a lot admiration. Taking the quiet and action route doesn't mean we are stupid.

Look at China... while the world laughed at their products, they were working so hard until they took the world by storm.

All these noise and boastful attitude will not take us far...

The moment you share a contrary view, the next thing is, you are not igbo. Wtf?

The shameful behaviour by all these guys needs to be stopped and put in check cos I hate it!
I created a thread about this... Exactly...

And as usual I was called Yoruba Muslim.....

Nnamdi Kanu has radicalised some Igbo youths, the are so aggressive, insultive and antagonistic....
Filled with anger, hate and intolerance...

Only their opinion should count in their own mindset, once you have a contrary opinion, you automatically become an AFONJA or Yoruba Muslim...

How can Biafra work like this undecided

Nnamdi kanu is a BRAVE Igbo icon, no doubt, he will always be referenced, But I think he should step aside.
He is the main reason why some Igbos are still sitting on the fence.
In all honesty no sane Igbo man can be in full support of all the ideologies of Nnamdi Kanu, that man is too hate-filled, and egoistic.

We need more actions, and less talk..

One other great mistake some Igbos have been making is to keep including some minority ethnic groups to Biafra, this has made many of them feel narcissistic and unnecessarily relevant to Igbos.

The have Cursed and abused Igbos unnecessarily, personally I don't give a fvck about any of them..

I don't why some deranged IPOB members keep engaging them in argument, hereby giving them avenue to keep insulting Igbo people.

Some Igbos seriously get on my nerves, can't you leave this minorities only undecided

I love that some Logical Igbo men like pazienza are speaking out in this regard
